Building a base on the Broken Shore. Broken Shore in WoW Legion New Faction and Flight Discovery

A large number of people are addicted to online games. The Internet is an integral part of everyone's life in today's world. And this is good, because having free time, you can spend it as you like, just by going to the World Wide Web.

Online games have long become a popular form of entertainment and recreation. Each person can plunge into their world and for a short time forget about real life, forget about their problems, and so on.

Strategy and role-playing online games have gained great popularity. One of the leading "strategists" of our time is the game WOW (World of Warcraft). Let's talk about it in more detail.

About the game

WOW is an online role-playing game that has an army of millions of participants around the world. It was developed by Blizzard. The actions of this strategy take place in the fictional universe of Warcraft. Each player can easily control the selected character and play in teams with other fans in the virtual world.

This game was released in 2004. For a monthly set fee, players get access to such a game. Also, developers on an ongoing basis release various add-ons that are filled with various topics, which attract more and more audience.

The gameplay itself takes place in the world of Warcraft. By selecting a specific character, the user can explore the virtual world provided to him. The meaning of this online game is to complete tasks of varying complexity, where visitors can participate both alone and in a team. In case of success in completing such tasks, the player can improve his character by upgrading him with various characteristics and acquiring better equipment for him. It also opens up access to new interesting places and difficult levels, by winning which you can further move through the online game and improve your character.

At the very first stage, tasks are offered that must be completed alone. There are stages, the passage of which allows you to play in a team. Basically, a group game consists of 5 players:

  • tank;
  • doctor;
  • three fighters.

Each member of the group has a specific role in the dungeon battle. For example, a tank enters the battle first and should try to distract opponents. The healer performs the function of restoring health points that the tank and soldiers lost during the battle. The role of the fighters is to inflict a lot of damage on the opponents in order to defeat them as soon as possible.

As in all online games, there are strong bosses here, which can only be defeated by acting as a well-coordinated team.

This WOW game has several game modes that the user can switch constantly.

Now let's get straight to the point what the Legionfall's Legionfall supplies are for.

Add-on Overview

As mentioned above, the online game provides the ability to install additional patches. One of the most popular add-ons is WOW Legion 7.2.

After installing such an add-on, a universe called the Broken Shore opens. It is similar to the Tanaan Jungle, but the map is loaded gradually on the shore. Broken Shore has two dungeons:

  • Cathedral of Constant Night;
  • Tomb of Sargeras.

After talking with the mage, you can directly enter the game, and the Legionfall Army category and the entire coast will be available to you. After the passage of this scenario is carried out, the user can complete a local task on the very shore and earn a reputation.

In this add-on, the currency from previous patches, Nethershards, is again available. It is needed in order to acquire various reputation rewards with the Legionfall. Users receive this currency for completing various tasks and killing monsters, and you can also get it by finding it in chests that are scattered all over the coast.

An important element of each universe is the available buildings on the map. The main structure of the Broken Shore is the Stripped Pinnacle. Patch 7.2 makes it possible to help in the construction of this building and receive certain bonuses for this, for example, the discovery of new content. The contribution to help with the construction is 100 Legionfall Supplies, which can only be obtained by defeating the strongest monsters. After that, construction is carried out with the help of all members of the faction of a certain region of the coast.

This addition makes it possible to build even three buildings, such as:

  • Mage Tower;
  • Commander's headquarters;
  • Void Destroyer.

Each construction can bring you two bonuses, one on a permanent basis, the second is random, which tends to change in the presence of the construction of such a structure. In order to immediately pick up their bonus, the player needs to have a conversation with Chambers after the building is ready.

Building a tower of mages gives you the opportunity to get Fel Treasures as a permanent bonus.

Random bonuses are:

  • aware bonus;
  • fluff bonus;
  • great power;
  • worthy of respect.

Interesting! When receiving a random "Worthy of Honor" bonus, the attitude of the Legionbane army can improve by 25% faster.

The permanent bonus of the second structure of the Headquarters of the Command is the Forces of the order. It also provides the ability to open new tasks.

Random bonuses of such a structure are:

  • great gain;
  • hostilities;
  • excellent defenders;
  • quick readiness.

Interesting! Once you get the Legionfall Supplies, you will have the opportunity to get even more supplies in addition!

The last building is the Void Breaker, its permanent bonus is the epic hunter. It, like the previous permanent auxiliary elements, makes it possible to get the right to fight with serious bosses.

Random Void Breaker bonuses:

  • smiling fate - if you fail an additional roll, everything will remain in its place;
  • strengthening the vehicle - using this item, you can easily use objects;
  • multiplier - makes it possible to get even more currency in an online game.

On such a Broken Shore, each player can earn about ten different achievements.

The Warcraft game really provides an opportunity to plunge into the virtual world and perform a variety of actions to improve your character. By earning achievements, you progress every time in such an online game.

Playing such strategies, you can relax perfectly, but the main thing, as doctors say, is to play in moderation.

  • 1st week: (already in the game) a return to the Broken Isles scenario, where new game events and quests will appear, the continuation of the class hall campaign (for those who completed the first part and activated all 35 traits of their artifact weapons).
  • 2nd week: the Legion attack begins, the first PvP brawl appears (frozen Arathi Basin).
  • 3rd week: Chapter 5 of the Class Hall Campaign opens. You will have access to new allies, new order upgrades, and special class quests.
  • 4-11 weeks: further development of the story will lead to the opening of the Tomb of Sargeras raid and the opportunity to get class mounts.

The Broken Shore is a real headache for the people of Azeroth. The demons of the Burning Legion have settled here, and it looks like their attacks will never end. This is an eternal reminder of the defeat that both the Horde and the Alliance suffered. But the invaders must be stopped! The heroes of Azeroth must return. And this time they'll be ready to fight back against the demons

Assault on the Broken Shore

The Legion is not very hospitable, so don't expect a warm welcome. You will need to fight to break through the ranks of opponents, clear the coast and organize a stronghold. As with the release of Legion, upon reaching the maximum level, you will be able to take a quest from Khadgar, which will start a solo scenario in the Broken Shore.

The fight against the Burning Legion will take place for you and your allies in several stages. The culmination will be a sortie on one of the ships of the Legion, where you have to fight the dreadlord Mephistroth - and this will not be your only encounter with him.

After completing the first stage of the storyline, you will find yourself at the Pinnacle of Deliverance. This redoubt will provide a safe base for all Class Halls to come to the Broken Shore to join the Legionfall in the new campaign.

Pinnacle of Deliverance and fighting on the Broken Shore

The first thing to do on the Broken Shore is to assess the situation and find out more about these Fel-ridden lands. The ruins and ruins of the former greatness - all that remains of the once powerful civilization of the elves - keep the memory of the events of the past. But even the statues bear traces of the destructive influence of the Legion.

As you travel through the Broken Shore, you will be offered several new World Quests that will reward you for completing them. You will also further develop your artifact weapons.

Completing World Quests in the Broken Shore will also earn Legionfall supplies and reputation with the Legionfall. Both can be obtained in other ways: for example, by killing rare elite monsters that roam the island. The supplies of the Legionfall's Fall will come in handy for the construction of powerful structures at the Pinnacle of Deliverance. These buildings will prove invaluable to explorers of the Broken Shore.

There is something for everyone on the Broken Shore. And there are plenty of demons here, so be on the lookout.

We hold the defense

Have you set up a base and found out the situation? It's time to join forces and contribute to the construction of powerful structures that will help you destroy the Burning Legion's stronghold on the Broken Shore.

You can spend supplies to build three different buildings by using the Legionfall's Legionfall Worktable. Once the building is created, you will see a short cutscene, after which you can get the buffs associated with this building. Each building has its own advantages, in addition, you have a chance to get additional bonuses from any of them. Don't neglect them! Additional bonuses can be a powerful argument when you decide what to donate supplies to. These donations add up for each region, so choose wisely.

Each building requires a steady stream of Legionfall supplies to build. After the completion of the building, players will have three days during which they will be able to use the advantages of the building with might and main. During one of these days, the building will be attacked and eventually destroyed, so it will have to be rebuilt. It will be possible to start re-construction a day after the destruction of the building.

Here are the buildings that can be built here.

Mage Tower

Harness magical energies to aid the Legionfall's advance in the Broken Isles and uncover the Legion's collaborators.

  • Building benefits: the Fel Treasures effect, which allows you to complete artifact tests, find additional treasures, and use portals leading to cities.
  • "Aware": When you loot an Artifact Power item in a raid or dungeon, you have a chance to get an additional Artifact Power token.
Command rate

A fortified base where the leaders of the Class Halls work together to plan an offensive against the Broken Shore.

  • Building benefits: The Power of the Order effect, which allows you to complete World Quests in dungeons, summon Legionfall reinforcements, and accept difficult quests.

Let us give an example of just one of the positive effects that the construction of this building can give.

  • "War Campaign": Looting Legionfall supplies has a chance to drop additional supplies.

Here you can also use your class hall strategy map - you won't need to return to the class hall to send allies on missions.

Nether Destroyer

An ancient elven moonwell that is able to fight back the energy of the Void emanating from the tomb and reveal the secrets of the past.

  • Building benefits: the effects of Epic Hunter (with which you can fight bosses outside of dungeons), Volatile Portals, and Armorer Letters of Recommendation.

Let us give an example of just one of the positive effects that the construction of this building can give.

"Fortified Reins": allows you to interact with objects without dismounting.

Class Hall Campaign Continued

The Class Halls are determined to succeed where the factions have failed, and with your new weapons, those plans may very well become a reality. On the Broken Shore, Heroes of all classes will be able to continue their Hall of Fame campaign, as well as return to upgrading Artifact Weapons.

Those who have already reached Artifact Knowledge level 25 will now be able to advance to level 26 and beyond.

Those whose knowledge of the artifact is not yet at level 25 will have the opportunity to go to Dalaran and increase them in an accelerated mode.

Those who have unlocked all 35 Artifact weapon ranks for at least one specialization will receive a new quest and the opportunity to continue improving. By completing a short quest chain, you will unlock 4 new traits for your artifact weapons.

For those who have not unlocked all 35 Artifact Trait ranks yet, there will be a quest to complete before moving on.

As at the beginning of the expansion, your class hall's storyline will progress as part of the main Broken Shore storyline. In a few weeks, you will receive a new follower and new World Quests unique to your class in the Broken Shore. In some of these tasks, you will have to help other classes.

Cerberax Glow

High above the island, the Legion's flagship, the Cerberax, looms in the mist. Fighting the creatures prowling in its shadow, you can get a special beacon, on the signal of which the ship opens portals. These portals summon more Legion demons - all you have to do is deal with them. With each level, the opportunity to get a higher level beacon increases, which, in turn, opens portals with even more dangerous enemies.

Open portals and defeat enemies, and then over time, in the company of several friends, you will be able to fight the raid boss. Needless to say (but we'll say it anyway) this is a great opportunity to get hold of Nether Shards.

Nethershards are a valuable currency that can be spent on gear of a high enough tier that will immediately make you feel comfortable on the Broken Shore. To do this, contact the merchants at the Pinnacle of Deliverance: battle mage Kath "lynn and Thaumaturge Vasrin. Shards can also be used to increase your chances of obtaining higher-level equipment. We hope luck will be on your side!

Don't be alarmed by the thought that for the sake of the fragments you will have to settle in the gloomy shadow of the Cerberax for a long time. They can be obtained in many other ways as you explore the Broken Shore.

Cathedral of Eternal Night

After completing the starter scenario and completing the first quests in the Broken Shore, you will be able to travel to a new dungeon: the Cathedral of Eternal Night, although visiting it is not required to progress in the story. Khadgar will offer you a mission in which you have to climb to the top of the cathedral and once again meet with Mephistroth.

There's a lot to do on the Broken Shore, but don't be surprised if at some point you have to get distracted by things like .

Your efforts to fight the demons on the Broken Shore will eventually lead to a showdown in the Tomb of Sargeras like you've never seen before. With mighty artifact weapons and the power of the Pillars of Creation, defeating the Burning Legion and Kil'jaeden is closer than ever!

With the launch of patch 7.2, we wanted to share a bit more information on the release of the various pieces of in-game content and the pacing as we tell the ongoing story of the fight against the Burning Legion.

  • Week One: (Now Live) Return to the Broken Shore Scenario, New World Quests Open on the Broken Shore, Class Hall Campaign Continuation (for those who have completed the first part and have enabled all 35 of their Artifact Weapon Traits).
  • Week Two: Legion Assaults Begin and the first PvP Brawl becomes available (Frozen Arathi Basin).
  • Week Three: Chapter 5 of the Class Order Hall campaign unlocks. This will open access to new followers, new Order Hall upgrades, and class-specific World Quests.
  • Week Four Eleven: Ongoing story lines unlock which will lead up to the eventual opening of the Tomb of Sargeras Raid dungeon and the ability to earn Class Mounts.

For the heroes of Azeroth, the Broken Shore represents pain, sorrow . . . and an opportunity for vengeance. It is the source of the Burning Legion's seemingly unending incursion, and an ever-present reminder of the defeat suffered at their hands by both the Horde and the Alliance. But now it's time to return to where the invasion began-this time as a more prepared force.

Assault on the Broken Shore

Hospitality isn't the Legion's strong suit, so don't expect them to roll out the welcome mat for Azeroth's forces. You're going to need to break through their defenses, clear the beach, and establish a foothold for your base. Similar to the launch of World of Warcraft: Legion, if you've max level, Khadgar will have a quest for you which will begin a solo scenario on the Broken Shore.

You and your forces will progress through a series of stages as you press the attack against the Burning Legion. This culminates in the infiltration of one of the Legion's ships to face the dreadlord Mephistroth - this won't be the last you'll see of him however.

Once complete, you'll arrive at Deliverance Point. This base of operations will serve as a sanctuary for members of all Class Orders as they begin working on a new campaign on the Broken Shore alongside the Armies of Legionfall.

Deliverance Point and Securing the Broken Shore

Your first foray into the Broken Shore will involve getting a few things established and learning more about these fel-befouled lands. Evidence remains of a once shining elven civilization, and crumbling structures are all that bear witness to what once was. Even the statues have been touched by the corruption of the Legion.

As you progress through the Broken Shore, you’ll undertake a variety of new World Quests for rewards and continue the evolution of your Artifact weapon.

Completing World Quests within the Broken Shore will also provide Legionfall War Supplies and reputation with the Armies of Legionfall. They can also be obtained from other sources such as rare Elites found around the island. Legionfall War Supplies are essential for contributing to the construction of powerful buildings within Deliverance Point, which will provide additional benefits for those working their way through the Broken Shore.

There's plenty to do here and more than enough demons to keep everyone on their guard.

Construction Defenses

You can contribute to the construction of three different buildings by accessing the Legionfall Construction Table. The first time a building is established, a brief scene plays and a quest becomes available that grants the buffs associated with the building. Each building provides access to different benefits, and there are a variety of extra bonuses each building has a chance to provide. Make sure you pay close attention to them-these additional bonuses could sway your choice of which to donate to. Contributions towards each building are accumulated across your game region, so choose wisely.

Constructing each building requires a steady influx of Legionfall War Supplies. Once constructed, the building is available for 3 days, during which players can reap the benefits the building provides. The building will come under attack on the last of those days, after which it is destroyed and must be rebuilt. You'll then need to wait a cooldown period of one day before you can contribute again to rebuild.

Here are the buildings that can be constructed:

Mage Tower

Harness arcane energies to move Legionfall quickly forces throughout the Broken Isles and uncover challenging agents of the Legion.

  • Benefits Include: Fel Treasures, which provides access to Artifact Challenges, bonus treasure spawns, and city portals.
  • knowledgeable: When you loot an item which grants Artifact Power in a raid or dungeon, there's a chance you will receive a bonus Artifact Power item.
command center

A fortified base of operations for Order Hall leaders to gather together and plan their attacks across the Broken Shore.

  • Benefits Include: Forces of the Order, which provides access to dungeon World Quests, the ability to call in Legionfall Reinforcements, and a Challenge Mission.

Here's an example of just one type of buff that could be provided when this building is constructed:

  • War Effort: When earning Legionfall War Supplies, you have a chance to get bonus Legionfall War Supplies.

You’ll also have access to your Class Order Command Map here, so you can send your Followers on missions without having to travel back to your Class Hall.

Nether Disruptor

An ancient Elven moonwell with the power to push back the nether energy emanating from the tomb and reveal previously shrouded secrets.

  • Benefits Include: Epic Hunter, which provides you with access to world bosses, Unstable Nether Portals, and Armorcrafter Commendations.

Here's an example of just one type of buff that could be provided when this building is constructed:

Reinforced Reins: Allows you to interact with objects while mounted.

Continuing Your Class Hall Quest Line

Where the factions failed, the Class Orders are determined to succeed, and now you have the weapons at hand to make it happen. Each class can continue their Class Order Campaign on the Broken Shore and continue unlocking the power of their Artifact weapon.

For those who are at Artifact Knowledge level 25, you can unlock Knowledge level 26 and beyond.

For those not at Knowledge level 25, don't worry. You'll be led to Dalaran to get a boost up.

If you've purchased all 35 ranks of your Artifact weapon for at least one specialization, a new quest to continue your journey will appear. After a short series of quests, you'll unlock access to four new traits for your Artifact weapon.

If you haven't opened all 35 ranks of your available traits, a quest will become available so you can complete that before moving on.

As with the beginning of the expansion, you'll progress your Class Order quest line over time as you play the Broken Shore experience. You’ll also gain one new Follower a few weeks in and can take part in some new class-specific World Quests on the Broken Shore. In some cases, these World Quests will have you aiding other classes along the way.

Under the Glow of the Sentinax

Looming high above the island is the Burning Legion's command ship, the Sentinax. Fighting creatures within its shadow, will allow you to loot a beacon from these creatures that can be used to command the ship to open portals. These portals will produce more Legion adversaries for you to take on. Each level provides new opportunities to get a higher-level beacon. These higher-level portals in turn allow access to even more dangerous foes.

Open enough portals and overcome enough adversaries and you’ll eventually gain access to a raid boss for you and some friends to take on. It goes without saying-but we'll say it anyway-this is a great way to amass Nethershards.

Nethershards are a useful currency for purchasing catch-up gear from the vendors Warmage Kath"leen and Thaumaterge Vashreen in Deliverance Point. These can also be used to purchase chances for higher item level gear as well. We hope you have your good dice ready for those upgrades!

Don't worry about being confined to the shadow of the Sentinax any time you want to collect Nethershards. You'll also gain them through a variety of other activities and sources as you adventure on the Broken Shore.

Cathedral of Eternal Night

Once you complete the opening Scenario and first quests on the Broken Shore, you’ll gain access to the new dungeon, Cathedral of Eternal Night. Khadgar will have a quest that will send you into its upper reaches, where you'll face Mephistroth once more. Venturing into the cathedral isn't required to progress through the Broken Shore-but if you want another shot at Mephistroth, this is your chance.

While there's plenty to do on the Broken Shore, don't be surprised when something like on the Broken Isles pulls you away.

Ultimately, your efforts on the Broken Shore will lead to a confrontation unlike any other at the Tomb of Sargeras. With powerful Artifact weapons and the Pillars of Creation at hand, victory over the Burning Legion and Kil'jaeden is nearly assured.

Are you ready for the next chapter?

We prepared a guide to the Broken Shore location in patch 7.2. We will tell you what to do in the location, what are the interesting things and what to do in general.

The guide consists of two parts:

  1. Broken Shore Overview
  2. Location assault and quest hub

Video review of Broken Shore 7.2:

Broken Shore Overview

This part of the guide tells what is interesting in the location and what you can do there.

Rarniks (rare monsters)

The Broken Shore in patch 7.2 has a variety of rare monsters. As soon as a rare appears in the location, an icon (skull) will appear on the mini-map, indicating its location.

Broken Shore spawns drop Class Hall Resources , Shards of the Void and needed to build buildings in this location.

Killing 5 rarniki on the Broken Shore is required for the Take Out the Head… quest, which is part of the Breaking the Tomb achievement.

World Quests

Broken Shore will also offer players many new World Quests. The rewards for them are the usual:

  • Equipment
  • Artifact Power
  • Class Order Resources
  • + Legionfall supplies (new currency)

All Broken Shore World Quests grant reputation with Legionfall Armies.

For world quests, the location is inhabited by 3 Legion Battle Pet Tamers.

Cerberax

Ancient shrines and plant buffs

Everywhere in the location you can find the ancient shrines of the night elves. You can click on these shrines to get one of the following effects for 1 hour:

  • Increase damage by 15%
  • Increase character base stats by 20%
  • Reduce incoming damage by 25%
  • Increases Haste, Critical Strike, and Mastery by 5000

Various plants on the Broken Shore also provide beneficial effects. By clicking on them, you will receive an increase in one of the secondary characteristics, but the character’s maximum health will decrease.

Difficult tasks

In this section, we have collected information about Legion 7.2 quests and tasks that players often have difficulty with.

1. Demonic Games

In order to complete the Demon Games quest, you need to activate three runes:

  • Dregla
  • Talar

And after that - do not forget to talk to the NPC, otherwise nothing will work.

Video - how to complete the quest Demonic Games:

Broken Shore Exploration

To complete the Broken Shore: Scouting quest, watch the following video:

Wyrmmouth Caches

The curious caches of the Wyrmtongue are containers of treasure scattered all over the shore. They become available when the Mage Tower is completed and fully functional in the location.

Building construction

Players can build buildings at the starting point of the new location. There are three such buildings. The constructed building begins to bring certain buns.

From time to time, the Legion will attack buildings, which will cause the health bar to decrease. If the building loses its entire margin of safety, you will have to build it again. When a building is attacked, its bonuses do not work in the entire location.

These buildings are built by turning in the new currency (Legionfall Supplies) at a special location in the Broken Shore starting zone.

Dress up on the Broken Shore

Patch 7.2 will make it easy to dress up in good clothes on the Broken Shore:

  • Dauntless Tokens create an item of equipment that matches your specialization gender (as they did in Draenor. These tokens can be bought for 400 Nethershards or dropped from monsters in the Broken Shore.
  • When players complete one of the three buildings, world bosses will begin to appear in the location, from which things of level 890 fall: Si'vash, Apocron, Malificus, Brutallus.

Farming Nethershards

Nethershards are a currency that can be farmed indefinitely in the Broken Shore. If you're hunting for achievements, you'll need at least 2500 shards for the Shard Times achievement, which is part of the Infiltrate the Tomb meta-achievement.

Void Shards can also be used to purchase equipment tokens, transmog items, and materials for crafting legendary items.

New faction and opening flights

In the Broken Shore location in patch 7.2, you will meet a new faction - the Armies of Legionfall. A reputation level of at least Revered with this faction is one of the conditions in order to open flights in the Legion.

Reputation is earned primarily through quests. Faction rewards are mostly toys.

Penetration into Grojunica

Infiltrate Grojunica - Until recently, this achievement was required to open flights in the Legion, but recently it was removed from these conditions.

Getting this achievement will require a long quest in the Broken Shore, completing many world quests and events, recruiting a new champion for the hall, and collecting Nethershards.

The achievement is long and difficult, but there are no special rewards for it.

Assault on the Broken Shore. Quest hub.

This part of the guide is devoted to the starting scenarios of the location, as well as a description of how the questing is built.

Attack on the Broken Shore

When you log into the game in patch 7.2, a quest will immediately appear: report to Dalaran and speak with Khadgar to prepare for the attack. Then a scenario will start, according to which you will be sent to the Broken Shore, where you will need to reclaim territory from the Legion.

You'll also be given the Mystery quest The Broken Shore: Investigating the Legion, which will complete when you get the right artifact-related item from the monsters in the Broken Shore.

Script video:

You will then receive the Assault on Broken Shore quest, which starts the scenario on the Broken Shore. This quest rewards you with a ilvl 855 helmet and an item that allows you to level up equipment from the class hall to ilvl 860.

Broken Shore 7.2 as a quest hub

Brief information on the Broken Shore quest hub:

  • Completing scenarios unlocks access to world quests in the location.
  • After completing the scenario, you will find yourself in the base camp (Liberation Point). This camp is designed in the style of your class and has a flight master.
  • At the very beginning, you will have 3 quests available: Legionfall Supplies , Aalgen Point , and Vengeance Point). The last two will lead to other flight points on the Broken Shore.
  • Currency Legionfall Supplies , required for one of the three starting quests, is obtained from world quests. You will need a few days for this quest, as it requires 100 currency pieces, and only 10-20 units are given for world quests.
  • Completing quests in the Broken Shore is currently the only way to gain Legion Fallen reputation, as there is no turnip reward for killing monsters.
