MCC map with metro

MCC scheme with transfers to the metro, trains and suburban transport

Another popular MCC scheme with transfers to the metro, trains and other suburban transport will be useful for passengers who travel by trains, switch to the MCC from the metro or minibuses. The diagram shows metro stations, Russian Railways stations and MCC stations along with transitions to them.

We draw your attention to the distance of a number of MCC stations from the metro. For example, from the Nagatinskaya metro station to the MCC station, the top fields of Yandex maps show 4 km, despite the fact that the map in the metro indicates 10-12 minutes on foot.

Schemes and maps during construction (projects) with interchange nodes:

Numerous queries in the search can be addressed to the only official website of the MKZD http://mkzd.ru/

According to preliminary sketches, it was assumed that the Moscow Ring Road on the map would look like this:

Hours and schedule of the MCC

List of MCC (MKZHD) stations:

There will be 31 stations in total. It is assumed that the rolling stock will be represented by Lastochka trains, which have proven themselves well on intercity routes and, for sure, will be convenient for such local transportation.

The opening of the Moscow Ring Road is scheduled for the end of 2016, testing is planned to begin in July 2016, so we are waiting for new information and will be updated as it becomes available.

What is MCC?

The MCC is the Moscow Central Ring and this entire article describes this object of Moscow in all forms and angles, including the history of its creation.

Calculation of time between MCC stations

Because the calculator is not yet written and ready, an easy way to calculate the travel time between stations is the following 90 minutes / 31 stations = about 3 minutes an approximate calculation of the time from station to station.

What are the intervals of trains on the MCC

Intervals between MCC trains are no more than 6 minutes during peak hours, which is generally not bad, especially at traditionally problematic and overloaded stations. For example, near the City, where on the days of exhibitions at the Expocentre you are taken out of the subway.

TPU Shelepikha train schedule

TPU "Shelepikha"- located in the Central Administrative District of the city of Moscow within the boundaries of the Presnensky district. The main planning and transport links are the MCC, the Smolensk direction of the Moscow railway, Shmitovsky proezd, Shelepikhinsky dead end and Ermakova Roshcha street.

The MCC is essentially the second ring metro line with a unified fare system for the Moscow Metro. 31 stations (TPU) have been built at the MCC. From any transport hub it is possible to transfer to ground urban passenger transport.

At 17 out of 31 stations, it is possible to transfer to 11 metro lines. Also, at 10 TPU you can transfer to commuter trains.

The rolling stock at the MCC is represented by the Lastochka high-speed electric trains manufactured by Siemens AG. Trains consist of 5 cars.
The operation of the electric train is possible at ambient temperatures from −40°C to +40°C. The carriages are equipped with double sliding doors, two on each side of the carriage.

Car electronics include built-in lighting, loudspeakers, digital information boards. For recharging mobile devices in the shelves for hand luggage, there are built-in electrical sockets designed for 220v AC voltage.

Toilets with dry closets are installed in the head cars of the train.(one per wagon), bathrooms are equipped with special equipment for people with limited mobility.
The MCC runs 28 high-speed electric trains "Lastochka". The composition moves almost silently and can accelerate to 120 kilometers per hour. During peak hours, trains run every six minutes, at other times - at intervals of 11-15 minutes. The total duration of the trip around the ring is about 75-85 minutes.

Technologies

"Smart" escalators with motion sensors

Energy-saving escalators have been installed on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). "Smart" escalators start moving only when passengers approach them. Accordingly, if there are no passengers on the escalator, it automatically slows down and stops.

Opening doors "on demand"

Doors in trains open at the request of passengers. The doors open only when the train stops on the platform, and only when the doors are ready for opening, and a special green signal lights up.

On the outer and inner sides of the doors there are special stickers informing that before entering or exiting to open the doors, you must press the appropriate button.

Thermal curtain / Climate control system

In cold weather, electric trains on the Moscow Central Circle will turn on a thermal curtain on the doors. The thermal curtain turns on automatically at stops, when the doors are opened.

“Warm air is removed directly in front of the doors in the car, creating a thermal curtain and preventing cold air from getting inside,” the press service of Russian Railways.

The thermal curtain will protect the car from sudden temperature changes and will be able to maintain a comfortable temperature for passengers at any time of the year.

The MCC carriages are equipped with an automatic heating system that switches on when the ambient temperature drops below the air temperature in the train. The climate control of trains has an integrated system of antibacterial air disinfection, which will protect passengers from all kinds of infections and viruses in the cars, which is undoubtedly a topical issue for those. public transport solution

Launch Stages

The opening of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC) took place on September 10, 2016. At the first stage, 24 stations will be available for passengers, and seven more MCC platforms will open in December. RIAMO correspondent learned how to use a new type of urban transport.

The opening of MCC stations will take place in three stages.

The first one is scheduled for September 10, and 24 stations will be put into operation this Saturday: Okruzhnaya, Likhobory, Baltiyskaya, Streshnevo, Shelepikha, Delovoy Tsentr, Kutuzovskaya, Luzhniki, Gagarin Square, Krymskaya, Upper Boilers, Vladykino, Botanical Garden, Rostokino, Belokamennaya, Rokossovsky Boulevard, Lokomotiv, Falcon Mountain, Enthusiasts Highway, Nizhegorodskaya, Novokhokhlovskaya, Ugreshskaya, Avtozavodskaya and ZIL.

In December 2016, 7 more stations will become available to passengers: Koptevo, Panfilovskaya, Zorge, Khoroshevo, Izmailovo, Andronovka and Dubrovka.

And in 2018, the construction of warm transitions will be completed: it will be possible to make transfers without going outside. In total, 350 transfers will be available for passengers, so travel time should be reduced by 3 times.

2

Fare

From September 10 to October 10, 2016, travel to the MCC will be free for everyone. Some of the turnstiles will be open, while others will automatically open when you approach them. So, tickets will need to be applied to the turnstile only in the transitions to railway stations and in the subway.

After October 10, any Moscow Metro travel cards (Troika, Ediny, 90 Minutes), as well as social cards, will be used to enter the MCC station. Within 90 minutes from the moment of ticket validation, the transition from the metro to the MCC and back will be free. It is also possible to pay for travel by credit cards.

3

MCC schemes

Three variants of MCC schemes have been developed for passengers. The first one, in addition to metro lines and MCC stations, indicates the stages of opening stations and crossings, the distance between transfer stations and the time it takes to transfer.

The second version of the scheme will help passengers of electric trains orient themselves: the map shows railway stations, existing metro lines, as well as MCC stations and "warm" transfers to the metro.

The third scheme shows the stops of urban ground transport near the MCC stations, as well as the interval of its movement during rush hour. For example, from the Luzhniki platform of the Moscow Central Circle, you can go to the Sportivnaya metro station in 2 minutes. Buses 806, 64, 132 and 255 run regularly there, so getting to the right place is not difficult.

In addition, the map shows all the main attractions of the city, forest parks and nature reserves. Many of them are within walking distance of the MCC, for example, the Losiny Ostrov park and the Vorobyovy Gory nature reserve.

4

Transplants

The MCC is integrated into the Moscow public transport system with the possibility of transferring to the metro, Moscow Railway trains and surface public transport.

From September 10, it will be possible to transfer from the MCC to the metro at 11 stations (Business Center, Kutuzovskaya, Luzhniki, Lokomotiv, Gagarin Square, Vladykino, Botanical Garden, Rokossovsky Boulevard, "Voykovskaya", "Highway Enthusiasts", "Avtozavodskaya"), by train - by five ("Rostokino", "Andronovka", "Okruzhnaya", "Business Center", "Likhobory").

By the end of 2016, the number of transfer hubs will increase to 14 and 6, respectively, and in 2018 there will be 17 transfers from the MCC to the metro and 10 to the train.

To make a metro-MTC-metro transfer free of charge (within 90 minutes), you need to attach a metro ticket to the turnstile with a special yellow sticker at the entrance to the MCC station.

Passengers who plan to travel only along the MCC or are going to make one metro change - MCC or vice versa can apply tickets to any turnstiles, including those without yellow stickers.

If you missed 1.5 hours, you must pay the fare again when transferring.

5

Trains and intervals

New luxury trains Lastochka with a capacity of 1,200 people will run at the MCC. Their maximum speed is 160 kilometers per hour; they will travel along the MCC at an average speed of 50 kilometers per hour.

The trains are equipped with air conditioning, dry closets, information panels, free Wi-Fi, sockets and bike racks.

The cars will open manually: to enter or exit, you will need to press a special button installed on the doors. The buttons will be active (green illumination) only after the train has stopped on the platform, at other times the doors will be locked for safety reasons.

In the morning and evening peak hours, the traffic interval will be only 6 minutes. The rest of the time, "Swallow" will have to wait from 10 to 15 minutes.

6

Renewal (activation) of travel cards

In order to get to the MCC with 90 minutes, Unified for 20, 40 and 60 trips, Troika, bought or replenished before September 1, 2016, you need to renew them. To do this, you can contact the metro or monorail ticket office, as well as the metro passenger agency (Boyarsky per., 6) or the Moscow Transport service center (Staraya Basmannaya st., 20, building 1).

Holders of the Strelka card for traveling by train must exchange it at the metro ticket office for a card with the Troika application.

Activation is carried out without changing the balance of trips and the validity of the ticket, while the new reprogrammed travel documents will allow free transfers from the metro to the MCC and back.

Also, the Troika electronic card can be updated independently by topping up the balance at ticket machines at stations, on the troika.mos.ru website, via SMS or at payment terminals. As for social cards, their activation is not required.

7

Help and navigation

You can find out detailed information about ticket renewal, transfer hubs and navigation on the MCC from consultants at the entrance to the ring metro stations or at metro stations adjacent to the MCC. Volunteers will also help passengers navigate the new transport. A special mobile application is also being developed, with the help of which it will be possible to choose the best route.

Here you can see new convenient routes through the MCC.

On September 10, 2016, the Moscow Central Circle will open for passengers in the capital. True, construction work on the new highway will continue after this date: according to the head of the transport department Maxim Liksutov, some stations of the MCC will be completed after the start of work. Nevertheless, officials are seriously counting on the highway and hope that it will become popular among the townspeople within the next two years. Anticipating the opening of the Central Ring, The Village answers the most popular questions about the new form of urban transport.

What is MCC?

The Moscow Central Ring (formerly known as the Moscow Ring Railway) is a new interchange circuit that is supposed to connect the metro and radial directions of suburban railways and greatly unload the center of Moscow, removing transit passengers from it.

According to its designers, the launch of the route will relieve the subway by 15%, and the average travel time will decrease by 20 minutes (for example, the travel time from the Leninsky Prospekt station to the Mezhdunarodnaya station will be reduced from half an hour to ten minutes). In other words, thanks to the MCC, it will be possible to transfer from one metro or train line to another, bypassing the center. In addition, the MCC should partly solve the so-called "Vykhino" problem - a situation in which trains going to the center are filled immediately at the end stations of the metro. Passengers of electric trains coming from the Moscow region will be able to transfer to the new ring, and from it - to the metro lines and other suburban destinations.

How did the idea for the project come about?

The creation of the MCC is not really any revolutionary idea. In most western cities, the metro and the train are not separated and are the same transport: this practice allows passengers to move around the city much faster and easier. The ring designers themselves cite Berlin as an example, where the S-Bahn city train and the U-Bahn metro coexist within the same system.

The Central Ring was created on the basis of the Moscow District Railway, the decision to build which was made at the end of the 19th century on the initiative of the Minister of Finance of the Russian Empire, Sergei Witte. They built a ring around Moscow according to the project of engineer P. I. Rashevsky from 1903 to 1908. According to the original project, the route was supposed to have four tracks, which would be divided between goods and passenger traffic, but due to lack of funds, only two tracks were built. In 1930, passenger traffic was closed due to the development of buses and trams, only freight trains began to run along the ring.

The return of passenger traffic to the ring is not a new idea: they wanted to launch it back in the 60s, but this was prevented by the difficulty of electrifying the ring. Yury Luzhkov returned to this project again in the late 2000s, but the reconstruction of the MCC was already under Sobyanin in 2012. The ring was finally electrified, in addition, a third track was built for freight traffic. The total investment in the project, which was jointly carried out by Russian Railways and the Moscow government, exceeded 200 billion rubles, and 86 billion of them came from the federal budget.

Are the MCC and the Third Interchange Circuit the same thing?

No. The MCC is often called the third interchange circuit and the second ring of the Moscow Metro, but this is not so. The second circular metro line, 58 kilometers long, will appear in the capital by 2020, and this year its first section will open - from the Delovoy Tsentr station to Petrovsky Park. The new ring will also include the Kakhovskaya line, built back in the late 1960s. If the MCC route is shifted to the north due to historical reasons, then the metro ring, on the contrary, will be shifted to the south. Thus, both lines will form a huge eight.

How will the MCC connect with other modes of transport?

In total, the MCC will have 31 stations (by September 10, 24 of them will be ready, the rest will be put into operation before 2018), each of which is planned to be connected to ground transport stops. In the first few months after the official launch of the ring, it will be possible to transfer to the metro at 14 stations, but then they promise to add such an opportunity at three more stops. Also, six MCC stations (later their number will increase to ten) will have transitions to commuter train stations.

The transfer time to the MCC will vary depending on the sections: the longest transition will be from the Voykovskaya metro station to the Streshnevo and Baltiyskaya stations - you will have to walk for 12 minutes, while the shortest one will take no more than three minutes. At 11 stations, the builders promise to implement the “dry feet” principle: the crossings will be completely closed, which will allow people not to go outside. Between the metro station "Volgogradsky Prospekt" and the platform "Ugreshskaya" they promise to carry out ground communication.

How much will the fare cost?

Fares for travel on the central ring will be the same as in the metro. It will also be possible to use tickets "Single", "Troika" and "90 minutes". All benefits that apply to travel in the metro will be valid when using the MCC: special conditions for traveling around the ring will be provided to disabled people, schoolchildren and students.

The number of transfers from the metro to the MCC and vice versa for one trip is not limited. The only condition is that you need to have time to make all the transfers in 90 minutes. In the first month after the launch of the ring, passengers to make free trips and transfers to the MCC will have to reprogram the Unified ticket if it was purchased before September 1, 2016. This can be done at the box office of the subway or monorail. For those who use the Troika card, starting from September 1, it will be enough to deposit more than one ruble on the card.

In addition, passengers will be able to buy tickets at the stations of the ring both in cash and by cards. They also plan to introduce a contactless fare payment system that allows you to pay using a mobile phone, and PayPass / PayWave, thanks to which money will be debited automatically if you attach a bank card to the validator.

What will the stations look like?

By the opening of the MCC, the stations will be equipped with navigation panels in Russian and English. For visually impaired passengers, they promise to install tactile plates on lifts, stepless escalators and Braille. Also, at each station there will be information and boards showing the time of arrival of the train, and at five stations there will be “Live communication” racks. In addition, about 70 mirrors, 470 rubbish bins, gadget charging points, umbrella packers and free toilets will be installed. Trees in tubs will be placed for decoration. Unlike the metro, in the MCC there will be turnstiles not only at the entrance, but also at the exit, and the platforms will be treated with anti-icing coating.

What trains will be on the MCC?

33 Lastochka trains (five cars each), which are produced at the Ural Locomotives plant in the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk Region, will run along the ring. The Lastochka prototype is a German electric train from Siemens AG, which served guests and participants of the Sochi Olympics. This summer there was a scandal: during the test run, the electric train of the ED-4M series is too wide for the platform, but the Lastochka must fit into the dimensions of the track.

The maximum capacity of Lastochka is 1,200 people, and the maximum speed is 120 kilometers per hour, but trains will not move faster than 40–50 kilometers per hour along the MCC. The MCC's operating hours are the same as those of the metro, but the interval of train traffic on the ring will be longer and will range from five minutes during rush hour to 15 minutes at other times. Now the Yandex.Maps service is preparing to update the metro application in order to inform passengers about the train schedule not only for the metro, but also for the Moscow Central Circle.

All Lastochkas have soft seats and climate control systems. Passengers will be able to use Wi-Fi and devices for charging gadgets. Each train will have toilets at the beginning and end of the train. Unlike ordinary electric trains, there are no vestibules in the Lastochka carriages, while the double-leaf doors are wide enough for the passage of passengers with limited mobility.

Will it be possible to travel with strollers and bicycles?

Two of the five train cars (second and fourth) are equipped with bike carriers. No more than six bicycles can fit in each car. There will also be space for wheelchairs and other oversized hand luggage on the trains. Bicycle parking and bike rental stations are going to be built next to each transport interchange hub of the MCC. Rentals are now available near Delovoy Tsentr, Gagarin Square, Luzhniki, Botanichesky Sad and Vladykino stations.

How to navigate the ring?

On September 1, the Moscow government presented several detailed maps of the MCC, which show transfers from the Central Ring to ground and suburban transport, as well as to the metro line. The ring itself will be listed as the 14th metro line.

The names of MCC stations either repeat the usual names of nearby metro stations (Dubrovka, Vladykino), or indicate the area in which they are located (Gagarin Square, Luzhniki). In the summer, on the website of the Active Citizen project, a vote was held to rename the MCC stations Voykovskaya and Cherkizovskaya, as a result they received new names Baltiyskaya and Lokomotiv.

How will the MCC affect urban outskirts?

The central ring runs mainly through industrial areas. According to the authorities, the emergence of new transport will contribute to the development of these territories, such as ZIL. The mayor's office plans to improve the land adjacent to the MCC stations: make parking spaces for cars and bicycles, bike rental, landscaping, and also build about 750 thousand square meters of commercial real estate - hotels, retail sites, offices and technology parks.

At the same time, the preserved historical buildings of the MOZhD stations, designed by architects Alexander Pomerantsev, Nikolai Markovnikov and Ivan Rybin, are now being studied to determine the security zone for each of them. And in autumn, a museum of the history of the MCC will open at the Presnya station, where documents, photographs and films telling about the history of the railway will be displayed.
