How to transport an animal on a train?

To transport pets across Russia, you do not need to complete veterinary documents. Small pets, except large breeds of dogs and guide dogs, are transported in cages in hand luggage areas. The size of the cage in the sum of three dimensions should not exceed 180 cm.

Large dogs must be muzzled and on a leash, under the supervision of their owners or attendants.

What do you need to get on the train?

After payment for the order, we will send an email with the order form and SMS with a 14-digit code.

If you have completed electronic registration, show the conductor the original passport or document for which you purchased the ticket, and the order form. The form can be shown on your phone or printed.

What should I do if I made a mistake when entering passenger data?

If you made a mistake in one letter of your first name, last name, passport number or date of birth, don’t worry. You will be allowed in with this ticket. Exception - the error affects the cost of the ticket, for example, it was paid for as a “child” ticket, and after correction it should become an “adult” ticket.

If the train is carried by the FPK carrier, and you have mixed up your passport number, name or patronymic, the data can be corrected in the terminal that the conductors or the train director have. You will need to pay 200 ₽ for issuing a new travel document.

Not all conductors know about this, so contact them in advance before the train departs.

If there are so many errors that the passenger cannot be identified, the ticket can only be returned - on the website or at the ticket office.

How to change a ticket for another date or for another train?

According to Russian Railways rules, a ticket can only be exchanged for an earlier train. You can also upgrade your service class - for example, take tickets in a compartment if you had a reserved seat.

You can exchange your ticket if there are less than 24 hours left before the departure of the train for which the ticket is being reissued. If there are more than 24 hours before departure, exchange is not possible. It is not yet possible to change the carrier and departure and arrival stations. But you can change the station, for example, leave St. Petersburg for Moscow not from the Moskovsky station, but from the Ladozhsky one.

It will not be possible to reissue a ticket for another person.

To exchange a ticket, go to the station ticket office in person with the ticket and the original passport or other document for which you placed the order. If you took tickets for children, their presence is not necessary; the original birth certificate is sufficient.
