There are many hotels in the city to suit every taste. Naturally, the cost of living varies. You can find hotels with both one and four stars. But still, most hotels are three-star. However, given the level of service, we can say with confidence that it is much higher than in the same domestic hotels to which most tourists from the CIS are accustomed.

For example, three-star hotels offer personal rooms not only with a bedroom, but also with a kitchen, living room and balcony. The rooms have all the necessary household appliances (TVs, microwave ovens, etc.). Hotels have their own gardens and swimming pools. All hotels are located near the sea, which is about a 5-minute walk away. There are also a lot of shops and other retail outlets near them where you can buy everything you need.

As a rule, municipal parking lots are located near places of residence where you can park your car. The price per day will be about 10€.

Blanes - our Spanish love...

This year, my family and I spent only 4 days in Blanes - the quiet and oldest town of the Costa Brava - but fell in love with it for life... Imagine a place just ideal for a family holiday with a beautiful pine promenade, a magnificent equipped beach for three kilometers, the wonderful rocky landscape so characteristic of the "Wild Coast" and the majestic Castle of San Juan, located on a cliff and dominating the city - then you will get your first idea of ​​​​Blanes. The children were delighted with the San Francesk beach - this is not the main beach of Blanes, it is a little to the side, you need to walk to it, but what a beautiful place, everything is in pine trees, and what a wonderful gentle slope into the water, which is generally a rarity, like in the Costa Brava and in the Costa Maresme. We lived in the four-star Beverly Park Hotel, it is a little away from Blanes, but how nice it is to walk in the evening from our quiet place, breathing the pine-sea air, to the slightly more “loud” Blanes itself (which cannot be compared with Lloret de - Mar in decibel level). And what wonderful botanical gardens in Blanes - Marimurtra and Pinha de Rosa - it’s something unimaginable, the most fantastic and most beautiful plants in the world seem to have gathered here. Blanes is excellently located, in an hour you can reach Barcelona, ​​and by boat you can sail to the famous Tossa de Mar and crazy Lloret de Mar. In general, Blanes is now our Spanish love...

Cost of a holiday in Blanes. October 2016.

Since we flew during the off-season, the trip cost only 1,200 euros for two people. We flew from Moscow to Barcelona airport. The tour operator arranged a transfer to the hotel in Blanes. We took a trip for 10 days, since there is nothing else to do in Spain in October.

I wouldn’t say that excursions in Blanes are very expensive. We went on a sightseeing tour to Barcelona for only 15 euros per person, and also took a one-day excursion to Andorra, which cost us 90 euros per person. Of course, we went to Montserrat. They paid 20 euros for it. We booked all excursions from street agencies, since they cost 20-30 euros more from a tour operator. Everything went just fine, we had a Russian-speaking guide, comfortable buses and a free lunch in Andorra.

Food and products

Food in Blanes turned out to be surprisingly cheap. We had a quiet breakfast for 7-10 euros for two. It’s just that most often we ordered one portion for two, since the plates they brought were simply huge. Let's say a large plate of mussels in sauce cost only 5 euros, we took some sandwich for 1.5 euros. The most expensive were shrimp - we paid from 10 to 15 euros for them. We often bought paella; a large frying pan cost 10 euros.

I think it's a resort town Blanes in Spain is one of the most balanced. That is why those who are looking for a comfortable holiday at sea in Spain choose Blanes from year to year - reviews from tourists are almost always positive.

It is especially good to come to Blanes in the off-season, in May or September. At this time there are very few tourists, hotel prices are moderate, the weather is consistently sunny and even the sea is quite conducive to swimming.
