Grand Bahia Punta. Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana – Reviews

Comfortable Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana 5 * is located on coastline caribbean. It occupies an area of 500 thousand square meters. m., is part of a large hotel complex BAHIA PRINCIPE HOTELS & RESORTS. But, despite the grandiose scale, navigation is well organized here - tourists quickly find the necessary locations.

Three main lines run special open wagons, where you can get to the beach or a restaurant in a couple of minutes. Moving around in this way is very interesting and fun - children will definitely like it.

This is a heavenly oasis, which is surrounded by picturesque tropical gardens and the mild climate of the Dominican Republic. Endless entertainment for children and adults, neat territory, well-groomed beach with white ocean sand, varied cuisine and polite staff have made the hotel a favorite destination for tourists from Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, USA, Canada. People come here alone, in couples, families with children. This is a great place for a family vacation, a vacation for two, a youth party, a honeymoon or a wedding ceremony.

Rooms

1 of 2

The Grand Bahia Princip rooms are divided into Junior Suite Promo (the most remote location from the sea), Junior Suite Superior and Junior Suite Club Golden with privileges. In general, these are 780 rooms, decorated in colonial style, with an area of 43 square meters. m, which are located in cozy three-storey villas-bungalows. These rooms are absolutely identical in terms of interior and condition. If there is no influx of people, visitors are accommodated in any building. According to tourists, even the rooms along the fence come with an excellent view from the window.

The hotel was built in 2004, in 2014 it was renovated, so the rooms are in excellent condition, as evidenced by photos and videos of tourists. Guests are accommodated according to options: 3 adults + 1 child or 2 + 2. Upon request, a baby cot can be provided free of charge. There are four rooms for people with disabilities, ramps everywhere.

The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a living room, a bedroom, a balcony or a terrace with colonial-style furniture, where you can have a cup of coffee in the morning while admiring the nature of the Dominican Republic.

The interior of the bedroom is two double beds or one King-size bed with a canopy. The bathroom is pleasantly decorated, there is a jacuzzi, towels, disposable body care products.

For guests staying at Club Golden, an additional service and round-the-clock VIP service is offered. Junior Suite Club Golden are booked with the tour operator immediately. They are located in close proximity to the sea - on the beach. Club Golden owners can visit another a-la-carte restaurant, order food in the room, use round-the-clock service, the infrastructure of the other two hotels.

Everywhere there is air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a TV with three Russian TV channels. Internet can be used free of charge 1 hour per day in the lobby area. There is a telephone, an iron with an ironing board, a rain umbrella, a hair dryer, a mini-bar, a coffee maker and a kettle, and other accessories to make coffee / tea. A large safe is provided for storing valuables.

The sockets are standard, but you may need an adapter, which you can buy at the reception. For guests there is a mini-bar with mineral water, cola, fanta, sprite and beer. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. Many tourists complain about the influx of mosquitoes, so you should take protective equipment with you. Especially if the rest-2019 takes place with a child.

Staff

The service is friendly, courteous. The staff is clean and well trained. Customer requests are fulfilled immediately. Towels are cleaned and changed daily, and bed linen is changed once a week. If something does not work, it is worth contacting - all problems in the hotel are resolved promptly. Theft was not noticed, however, for reliability, it is better to pay for the safe. At the reception, as a rule, there is a Russian-speaking employee, but the main language of communication is Spanish and English. They also speak German and French.

Food

1 of 5

The standard all-inclusive package includes access to seven a la carte restaurants - three dinners per week with a mandatory reservation. In the restaurants you can enjoy a variety of international dishes, Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, French and local cuisine, there are luxurious grilled menus and seafood. There are ten bars on the territory of the hotel, including one near each pool. There is a 24-hour fast food restaurant on the beach. If you check in late, you can always eat there.

Dining rooms are crystal clear, tables are served quickly, and the choice of dishes is amazing for gourmets. Guests are always satisfied with the food in restaurants and buffets. They say that it is impossible to try everything, and the level of service is worthy of five stars.

If you tell the tour operator or staff that you need a dietary meal, it will be arranged. The restaurants have a vegetarian menu.

For the youngest guests there is an assortment of children's dishes, special children's tables, high chairs and kitchen utensils.

Entertainment and animation

1 of 7

The atmosphere of the hotel encourages active family vacation, charging visitors with the solar energy of the holiday. The entertainment component is well developed. Happy daytime and evening animation, constantly playing music. Animators entertain guests, hold exciting competitions. For children - shows in the evenings, a groovy mini-disco, animators also work with them during the day. Children from 4 to 12 years old visit the children's mini-club, where interesting classes are organized under the Bahia Scouts program.

Three outdoor pools have a special section for kids, and there is a water park on the territory of the neighboring Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa, which can be visited free of charge.

Young mothers have a chance to devote time to themselves - professional babysitters will take care of the children for a reasonable price.

Adults will not be bored either: spa, beautician services, massage, mini-golf, aerobics and aqua aerobics, gym, bungee rides, catamarans, casino, amphitheater for evening shows, disco, beach football and volleyball, and more. Demonstration culinary shows and theatrical performances are held.

A solemn wedding ceremony in Punta Cana, which can be organized by prior arrangement, will never be forgotten by guests and newlyweds. A special program has been prepared for the newlyweds, consisting of pleasant bonuses, discounts and gifts.

Beach

1 of 3

The hotel is located on the 1st line from the sea. Pleases own guarded sand beach Playa Bavaro. After the famous Macau Beach, this is the best beach area in the Dominican Republic. Along the coastline, it occupies an impressive half a kilometer. There are no breakwaters, but the coral reef helps to preserve the natural relief and protect the beach area from ocean waves.

Water delights with transparency and turquoise color, and sand - with whiteness and tenderness.

The entrance to the sea is convenient, sandy, which is important for young visitors and the elderly. The underwater world is diverse and safe. The beach has free sun loungers, towels and umbrellas.

One of the drawbacks is the smoking of vacationers on the beach. Families with children should look for sun loungers where there are no smokers.

The beach is cleaned, but there are periods of algae that can spoil the impression. The ocean wave regularly drives them to the shore. But the beach is constantly cleared of them. Therefore, negative impressions are unlikely.

During the period of rapid influx of algae, it is better to swim near the buoys. Families with children in such an area can swim with a swim ring if the child does not get sick.

I would like to note that there are few days when the Caribbean suffers from algae. Usually no more than three or four. And in the beach area itself it is safe: there are no jellyfish, sharks, or other dangerous individuals.

Territory and surroundings

Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana is 36 km from Punta Cana International Airport. As a rule, they get to him by taxi. In the vicinity there are markets, Russian shops. But on the territory of the complex in the shops the prices are reasonable, it is possible to pay credit card. There are many places around where you want to go on an excursion.

In general, sightseeing tours are popular:

  • Samana Peninsula;
  • a trip to Santo Domingo;
  • the island of Saona;
  • Manati Park;
  • Walk on the bottom of the ocean - Seaquarium.

The composition of the family - 2 adults and 2 children - 6, 5 and 1, 8 years old.
Departure from Kyiv was delayed by 40 minutes, but we were even on the spot an hour earlier than the arrival time.
Group transfer and at the hotel reception we were around 11 am - settled at 17-00 pm - the last!
So, it all started with the reception)
Background:
The hotel territory consists of 5 hotels - Gran Bahia Principe Ambar, Gran Bahia Principe Esmeralda, Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro and Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana Gran and Bahia Principe Premer - the hotel is stretched inland, so the hotel is located as if one after another - that is, first luxury Barn and Esmeralda, then mirrored Bavaro and Punta Cana and the last Premier.
In November, booked on the advice of the operator (not Manzana) Bahia Principe Premer as a children's hotel, which has a "children's" package in the rooms in the form of bathrobes for children, milk in the minibar and small similar items for children.
But we couldn’t find any reviews about this particular hotel in the Gran Bahia Principe network ... A month before departure, we still found a review saying that the hotel is located on the territory of the network, but it is the most extreme to the road, that is, 20 minutes to the ocean on foot, yes, trains often go, but we considered that it was not a very convenient option for us with a stroller and turned to the tour operator with a request to replace the Bahia Principe Premer hotel with the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel, which is located in close proximity to the ocean and walk to it 5 -7 minutes) The tour operator, having requested free places and taking from us an additional payment in the amount of about $ 900, rebooked the hotel for us. -200 dollars and they were moved to the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel) - the advantage is proximity to the beach, the main restaurant and the rooms themselves are newer - four-poster bed, plasma and good new plumbing)
The voucher clearly indicates the name of the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel and the name of the Family suit room, but at the reception we were immediately put on Premiere bracelets (even before checking in - to visit restaurants) with which we were not allowed into the main restaurant ... we suspected something was wrong and went to sort it out ... Bottom line - we were told that we did buy the Premier - and that the inscription on the Bavaro voucher does not mean anything and there is simply no category of Family Suit rooms in Bavaro. Rather, there are, but they are called Superior suit - that is, we have a mistake in the voucher - which was made by the operator and therefore we are accommodated in the Premier ... there were 20 of us from Ukraine ... at the reception they did not want to hear anything about our surcharges or about what the name of the hotel is still written on the voucher ... the guide of the host Terramar - Elena - behaved strangely - she did not take any part in the negotiations at all - at all! Having barely called her, she nevertheless arrived - she announced that she had written a letter to Kyiv and was waiting for what they would say, she did not even try to talk to the hotel staff. Let me remind you that it was Christmas - a day off and the time difference ... it was already late in the evening in Kyiv, that is, she knew perfectly well that no one would decide anything in Kyiv now and only she could provide us with at least some assistance in the negotiations, but no - she just told us about it, turned around and left without even trying to help (((
As a result, we were settled in the Premier at 17-00, the last and only of all with 2 children after a 12-hour flight ... By the way, there were no children's "packages" in Premier) no milk, no bathrobes - nothing!
After spending a lot of money and time in the next 2 days on negotiations with Kyiv operators, after 2 nights we were moved to the right hotel…
After 2 days, the younger girl was poisoned, they ate only the maximum children's food ... they called the number in the insurance and ended up in the Travel Professional Group company ... why? It’s not clear - after all, they called the insurance company ... after long songs and melodies, they dictated the insurance number to us ... they called back the European Travel Insurance insurance company - they reported our coordinates and called the doctor for the child 1, 8, stating that we had poisoning and the child had vomiting and diarrhea ... they said that in 5 minutes they will call back and inform you when the doctor will arrive ... After 2 hours (!!!) without waiting for the call, we called back again ... again a new operator - 2 hours to clarify the data and again - “in 5 minutes we will call back and say when the doctor arrives” ... And ALL! Not a call ... we are experienced parents - we managed it ourselves - and we have medicines at the ready, but the fact itself - how is it possible - after all, a small child needs a doctor! We made 3 calls for 5-7 minutes, spending a lot of money on empty talk - we never saw a doctor, we never got a call (((
The next day I got poisoned ... the next day the eldest daughter ...
We told our guide about such poisonings - she reacted calmly, said that everyone here was poisoned and almost every 3 of her tourists were poisoned here (((
These are our operators and insurances ... the impressions about the quality of service are simply terrible (
Summary about the country
I really liked the Dominican Republic as a country (oddly enough)
Green and bright, very comfortable weather - in our period it rained every day, but in the morning for 5 minutes, the wind near the ocean is sometimes strong, but very warm - it is very comfortable to lie down and for children - it does not soar, there are waves, often with small algae - they are really immediately removed from the beach, but they remain in the ocean) in principle, there is no discomfort) the ocean is warm)
There are always sun loungers on the beach - despite the fact that the hotel was packed, you can always find a sunbed, naturally you need to take it at 7 hours under an umbrella, but this is also not a problem)
Kitchen…very monotonous and relatively small assortment. There is nothing to feed the children - at all - in the evening even mashed potatoes cannot be found (Everything is breaded and in a bunch of sauces (
Animation is average - it is, but not a theater)) who wants to always find something to do)
Very weak children's animation - it is practically non-existent - children's disco - this is one dull animator and 5 children - although there are hundreds of them in the hotel.
No peacocks and other animals walked around the territory.
Russians and Ukrainians are often ignored, and at the reception and at the bar, first of all, Europeans and Americans will be served - this is very offending ...
So the hotel is a solid 3-4 with a stretch - and all because of the staff - the territory itself, the beach and the rooms are basically good, but the staff, the kitchen spoil everything (
Well, our operators distinguished themselves ... we will definitely return to the Dominican Republic to a decent hotel, but without our operators.

Why is consent to the processing of personal data required?

152-FZ "On Personal Data" in Article 9, Clause 4 indicates the need to obtain "the written consent of the subject of personal data to the processing of their personal data." The same law clarifies that the information provided is confidential. The activities of organizations that register users without obtaining such consent is illegal.

Familiarize yourself with the law on the official website of the President of the Russian Federation The hotel is excellent, but the ocean was not lucky.
The Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana 5 * hotel, where we rested, is part of a chain of hotels that are located on one huge territory in Punta Cana.

1.Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana 5*
2.Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro 5*
3.Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa 5*
4.Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine (ex.Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Green) 5*
5.Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda 5*

Tourists from the first three hotels can safely move around each other's territories, but they can no longer enter the luxury hotels. Tourists from luxury options can enter all territories.
At the entrance to each territory there is a guard, and by the bracelets he looks to see if people are going there. We don’t stand with a wall and let one pass, but we look out of the corner of our eyes so as not to strain, this is important.

Each hotel is equipped with its own lobby, its own restaurant. Each has its own territory, very large and beautiful.
Open cars constantly ply, which carry people to the beach, to their villas, to the lobby and back. Transport is like an open steam locomotive, everything is very comfortable and with stops.

In luxury versions, the cars are smaller and personal, with a maximum of 4 seats.

Food at the hotel.

Every day, the name of the cuisine is written on the restaurant, the dishes of which will prevail today. We got to the Mediterranean (sea), Italian, Dominican and Japanese cuisine. At the same time, every (!!) day there was pizza, and the opportunity to make tacos, and bananas in various forms, and pasta, and seafood.
Seafood has always been there, but the largest amount (seafood paella, hot mussels, various shells, fish, red, including squid) was at the bottom of the Mediterranean cuisine. On other days, there was always fish, paella and some shells, squid. For breakfast, red (slightly salted) fish was served every day. There were no pure shrimp (without sauce), but they will be mentioned later in the story about A la carte restaurants.

Fruit!
Mango, papaya, melon, watermelon, pineapple, guava, bananas, passion fruit, tangerines - were every day. But the mango was usually laid out at the very beginning, and it left the very first. It was not always the mango that was reported, so it was lucky, mainly because it came at the beginning. There were other fruits less often, but I don’t remember all, unfortunately.

The rest of the meals.
I can say that anyone can have a delicious meal in this hotel. Both those who are losing weight, and those who want to eat a lot and tasty (including junk food, like ribs), and those who come for fruit, meat or seafood will find something for themselves here.

Here are sample meals for different meals.

Breakfast: pancakes (3 types), pancakes, Belgian waffles (together with nuttella, honey, etc. to choose from), croissants, pastries, a lot of egg manipulation, "make your own sandwich" from sausage / ham / red fish / cheeses / salad pieces and in general anything and with any bread. Porridge came across, but it was spicy and too liquid. Next, fruits, yogurts, baked bananas, mashed potatoes and sooo many different options for the rest of the food. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that there is no person who makes smoothies. There were transparent "samovars" in which there was juice. But we did not fully understand whether it was freshly squeezed or not. Watermelon, melon, papaya seemed freshly squeezed, orange not. As a result, they drank water or coffee with milk more often. Also, of course, there is cocoa and tea, for every taste.

Lunch: fried cheese, baked tomatoes, various side dishes, various meats and fish (dorado, salmon, for example), pasta, a lot of salads of the "pick it yourself" type or eat it ready, soups (gazpacho, tomato, vegetable, chicken, mashed potatoes) , seafood. You could always get yourself a burger, hot dog. There were sausages, ribs, wings, a lot of vegetables in different forms, pizza (not dry, a lot of cheese and toppings, in general, constant hot, as they take apart and cook new ones). Delicious desserts, and cakes, and cakes, and cookies. There were also warm pies under the lid, sometimes marshmallows. Ice cream of several types with a lot of toppings to choose from.

Dinner: was very similar to lunch but with an emphasis on the cuisine, which is announced at the entrance on a particular day. On the day of Japanese cuisine, there were rolls (pink, blue, even yellow), fish, more rice dishes than usual. On the Italian day, there was everything from a bunch of types of cheese slices, prosciutto, pasta and pizza, to tomato soup with croutons. Coconuts were handed out for free on Dominican Day

The waiters always offer water, stronger drinks, all are polite, not arrogant.

A la carte restaurants.
We were only two: Japanese and Mediterranean. The first had sushi, fish, banana desserts, tempura ice cream. Atmosphere is good but loud and boring menu. Impressed by the mediterranean restaurant. I don't know if they would have taken out the oysters if we had sat a little longer. But even without them, everything that was brought to us on the menu and everything that was in the buffet caused delight. Those same shrimp without sauce were also there. The photos will tell you everything.) Various cheeses, soups, cuts and desserts were also there.

At the end of the paragraphs about food, I would like to say that the buffet restaurant itself is very beautiful, everything is clean. It was even awkward to sit there in shorts or beach (clean, without sand) shoes. There were places for snacks - snack bars, but we never ate there. Around the pools drinks for every taste. You can come up to pour yourself, or ask to make a cocktail. Or just ask for water or juice. Everything that is not in bottles, but in ordinary (glass / plastic) glasses - is given free of charge. Mini-bar in the room in the fridge is free, replenished once a day.

Cleaning every day, everything is fine, towels are changed.

The territory of the hotel.
Everything is grandiose, there is simply no other word for it. Palm tree to palm tree, flower to flower, there is no rubbish anywhere. Of the free entertainment: tennis (by appointment), children's water park, mini-golf, football field, basketball hoop. There is a rope park (we didn’t go, maybe it’s for money), many locations with swings for children. There is billiards, table football, table tennis - but it was for the money and was empty.
Many shops on site, not shops, namely "civilized". But the prices, you know)

Ocean and lounge area.
The sun lounger area is divided into hotels (each hotel has a bracelet of its own color). The suites have nicer sunbeds, our hotel had blue standard sunbeds. Sometimes the workers watched who was lying where, came up and asked to go to their sunbeds. And sometimes not. There was no anger/pressure on the part of the hotel workers, but tourists were sometimes offended, saying that they got lost and did not understand where they lay down.
The ocean upset me the most.
Our trip started on the Caribbean coast and ended on the Atlantic. And now the whole ocean was in algae. We are not talking about two meters near the shore, we are talking about algae, which, instead of people and together with people, floated on the waves. To my surprise, there were always a lot of people in the ocean. And to my disappointment, there were just an incredible amount of people on the beach. It was uncomfortable, especially compared to the Caribbean side, where, having moved to the right or left along the coast, you simply found yourself almost alone, without people, and even in clear blue / blue water. In the photo I tried to capture all the "beauty" of the ocean with algae. The algae that lie on the shore are constantly removed, but for the overall picture, this does not really matter.

As for the weather, everything was great. It rained once, but it was just as hot and the rain was fine and five minutes long. It doesn't matter if there are clouds or no clouds - it was always warm, sometimes hot and very comfortable.

I can’t say anything about entertainment programs, I didn’t go to watch them.

In the end, I would like to say about the strangeness of the hotel. Check-in at 15.00. We arrived early and were offered to check in (at 11 am, immediately) for $40. But since the bracelets were put on right away, we decided that we could have lunch and swim anyway, so we refused, and the time until three flew by.
But there is a big BUT. Until you are settled in a room and a card is issued with an identifier + room number, Wi-Fi will NOT work on your devices. And yes, free wifi only in the hotel lobby. When renting a room, Wi-Fi is also immediately cut off. Uncomfortable, but tolerable for those who are not very dependent)

Mosquitoes were in the evening. But we did not see people bitten from head to toe or stained.

We had Honeymoon, and they gave us gifts, in the form of a handbag, thermal mugs with the hotel logo. Also, they decorated the doors with ribbon and balls, and the bed with petals. And they put champagne and chocolates in the room. It was nice)

The room has a free safe that fits a 15" laptop.

We didn’t go outside the hotel, we just left, and we didn’t see any shops nearby where you can buy fruit to go. They met already far from the hotel, where I would not recommend walking on my own (about 2 km from the hotel).

I recommend the hotel because of the food, area and entertainment. I don’t know how it is in other months, but in early November, the ocean can ruin your mood for a vacation, and for those who like to swim, the vacation itself. To the right and left of the hotel along the shore, there were algae and the crowd too.

We had been going to the Dominican Republic for a long time, only the long flight was embarrassing, and finally we decided. We chose the Gran Bahia Princip for relaxation - the hotel turned out to be heavenly. The territory is huge, we didn’t have time to get around everything. Several swimming pools, a water park for children, mini golf, a mini club, a gym - the richest infrastructure! Even in the hotel lobby there was decent free internet, though only for one hour from one device - enough for correspondence with relatives. Meals at the hotel - a buffet, and the variety of dishes really rolled over. Meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits on the menu were full of abundance. I especially liked the Dominican ice cream, some of it is especially tasty! At lunch and dinner, drinks are served by the waiters, and they worked very quickly and accurately. There was a themed dinner every evening, plus 6 different restaurants on site (visiting them by appointment) - we liked Japanese and Mexican. And there were bars and eateries by the pools and on the beach - in general, it is impossible to stay hungry in the hotel! The coast and ocean are amazing. The sand on the beach is powdered sugar, walking is a pleasure! Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, and you can also take kayaks for an hour, of course, if the weather is normal. We were not very lucky with the weather. In the beginning, everything was super, no waves, no algae - the water surface was like glass, and in the end it was impossible to enter the water, only the marine flora near the buoys did not interfere with swimming. But it didn't spoil the holiday. The Dominican Republic impressed us with its beauty and hospitality.

We stayed here with our daughter for 10 days. We stopped in after lunch, literally in ten minutes everything was issued, they gave an envelope with a password from the Internet and settled. The apartments are spacious, there is where to roam. Towels and bath accessories were provided for everyone. In general, the service is top notch. Cleaning in the room is of high quality, daily. At the same time, when they hung a sign asking for cleaning, they cleaned it more carefully. A chic huge outdoor pool for adults and separately for small ones. Recreational activities are also held here. My wife and daughter went to aqua aerobics and something else. A lot of electric cars go to the sea, there are a lot of them, so there is no crush. The sea itself is, of course, very beautiful. White sand, when there were no algae - crystal water, just a feast for the eyes. When there were a lot of algae, they walked along the coast in search of a place where there were fewer of them. This is perhaps the only negative. The restaurant pleased. Always delicious, dishes change, service is unobtrusive, but impeccable. I just want to say "thank you" for a wonderful stay.

As for me, the hotel is wonderful! Beautiful landscaped area, which is nice to walk around. A fairly large hotel room, where it is pleasant to return after the beach in the heat. Just a feast of the stomach, not restaurants! We tried European cuisine, Mexican and Japanese. I liked absolutely everything! The cocktails are also worth noting, they are really good. The hotel staff know their business and do it perfectly. Very cool animation program. Gorgeous pool, we escaped from the algae in the sea. The weather, by the way, did not disappoint - the average temperature for the rest was about 30 degrees, but it did not soar, although there is decent humidity. But this is so, by the way. And the hotel itself and its staff were remembered only by positive aspects.

We went to the Dominican Republic for the first time, before that we were in Turkey and Greece, so there is something to compare with. We chose the Gran Bahia Punta Cana hotel complex because of the reasonable price. Unrealistically cool rest! The territory is huge, a lot of two- and three-story buildings, these are all the hotels of this complex. There is a large swimming pool for adults and children, and one closed type. In the main pool, even bars are made, to which you can swim and sit on an underwater chair! Electric steam locomotives run throughout the territory, we used them to get to the beach when it was too lazy to stomp on foot. Very clean everywhere, greenery, palm trees, just a fairy tale! There was a storm of emotions when they began to distinguish parrots on the branches))) We have never had this before! The room was spacious, comfortable. They give out bathrobes, slippers, constantly replenish personal care products. There is a hair dryer, iron and even an umbrella in case of rain, it was quite unexpected). Air conditioning, ceiling fan work properly, mini bar is included in all inclusive. Regarding the restaurant, I can say that we did not see any dissatisfied people. Buffet, just a cornucopia of food. For every taste and in any quantity. There are also themed restaurants on site, they go by appointment in advance. We found out about it too late and didn't manage to get in. But even this did not upset me much, because every day the menu in the main restaurant was different! Now about the sea. Very, very warm! We were lucky, all our stay the amount of algae was very small! Azure water, velvet sand, shade from palm trees... Mmmm... Well, to be specific - beach towels can be changed daily, there are a lot of sunbeds, the applied algae are constantly removed. The staff is very qualified, especially the chefs. They speak good English, some understand Russian. What can I say, my husband and I have only the most pleasant memories, I think this summer we will visit this wonderful country again!

The vacation turned out to be amazing - we spent two weeks in Gran Bahia, in Pnuta Cana. The hotel rooms can be summed up in three words – spaciousness, comfort and luxury. We lived in the 17th villa, the apartments are bright and well-groomed - the main thing is not worn furniture and snow-white linen. In the minibar, water, tea, coffee and beer were included in the price and replenished regularly. There were no complaints about cleaning either, the girls did a great job! The air conditioner and other equipment did not fail even once, only the key to the room was changed several times, it was demagnetized and did not work - this is the only thing that unbalances. The staff is very courteous - they came to help at any time of the day or night. The restaurants were served with lightning speed, and even if problems arose, all other employees did not remain outside observers. By the way, some of them speak excellent Russian, so there were no barriers to communication either. The hotel also had its own shopping area, the prices, of course, went off scale there, but we bought a few souvenirs. Another little tip, take dollars with you - the most popular and profitable currency in these places!

Pros: The territory is huge, fragrant, rich in a tropical garden where parrots live. The beach is luxurious and white. The food is beyond praise. Not far from the hotel is the Punta Cana resort market, where you can profitably buy souvenirs and necessary goods, bargaining with sellers.

Minuses: Check-in to the selected room is not timely.Upon arrival, the staff settles in a worse room with a view of the construction site, it takes a long time to ask for relocation.
