A small but comfortable area with two-story cottages. The pool is clean. Large car park in front of the Hotel. Sand beach located across the road, 5 minutes walk. Near the Hotel there is a tavern where you can have a delicious lunch of homemade soups (we took half board). To the center of Ayia Napa you need to go by bus (stop 200 m from the Hotel), but there is no noise at night. In general, the quality corresponds to the price.

The quality of food leaves much to be desired. Several times came across frankly spoiled products (corn, tomatoes, watermelon). The service staff at the Hotel is not used to working clearly and quickly. The maids are "aimed" exclusively at making money from vacationers and all requests are fulfilled exclusively with "material support". At the same time, they can not hesitate to take dishes or a kettle in your room in order to change them to someone who will pay them 1-2 euros for this tip. This is extremely outrageous from my point of view! Appliances (especially air conditioners) and some furniture are frankly old. In my opinion the Hotel deserves a solid 3 stars, no more.

Having completed the experiment with Protaras and all inclusive, we moved to our beloved Napa, to the An Maria hotel of the Tsokkos chain. Why we were there I will explain at the end. Before that, we were in it in 2012, so we immediately began to notice the changes that had taken place, namely: the palm trees have grown!; the rooms have been renovated, the furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets have been changed, the decor has changed and the rooms look very attractive and cozy; the restaurant has become a restaurant. As for everything else: - the territory is just as clean and well-groomed - the staff (all) are friendly and always ready to help - the pool is clean - the room is cleaned well, towels are changed every day, linen every three days, replenishment of gels / shampoos with a supply - in the room kettle, 2 mugs, 2 glasses, tea, coffee, sugar. Dishes are washed and stocks are replenished. - the safe was not used, but 2E/day + 5E deposit; we preferred to leave our passports at the reception and not bathe - mini-bar (more precisely, a small refrigerator) 2E / day + 5E deposit; freezes enough to cool a couple of bottles of wine/water and store fruits - beach towels for a deposit of 5E/piece, you can change as needed - Restaurant, beyond praise. I haven’t been to Turkey, I don’t know, but the assortment is very large. The chef is a master of his craft. The waiters rustle like electric brooms. I really liked that in the morning they cook pancakes, then scrambled eggs in front of you. In the evenings, in addition to the "standard" dishes from the chef. At lunch and dinner, drinks are paid, but the prices are reasonable. The result of visiting the restaurant was an extra 5 kg, and I still restrained myself. - the only shortcoming, which, I hope, will be corrected is the price for renting bicycles, 8E / day for 1 bike. As a result, the bike parking is full of unclaimed bikes, and people take them elsewhere (they cost us 4E/day/piece). In all other respects, I really liked the hotel and left very good impressions and memories.

And now to the question of why we ended up there, and why this review might not have been. Attention, as experience has shown, the situation applies to both bag carriers and self-propelled guns. We booked in advance (on Ostrovka) and paid in advance for Tsokkos Paradise Village. However, having arrived there, we heard that everything was very tightly packed and they wanted to send us to another hotel. I did not call Ostrovok, a waste of money. We found out the hotel, the conditions (added lunch, safe, refrigerator, Wi-Fi) and moved to An Maria by a free taxi. As a result, we were just lucky in this lottery, but after we were brought packets and they were already settled in the neighboring Frei Resort (the same Tsokkos) in a bungalow with many shortcomings, they used the infrastructure in An Maria. So now you have to monitor which chain the hotel belongs to and whether it indulges in such overbookings.

We booked a hotel 2.5 months in advance, and when we arrived there were no places in the hotel - everything was booked. They offered another hotel from the same chain of a category above 5 stars. AII and close to the center, but the beach is a 20-minute walk - with a stroller in the heat - this is not realistic, but if without children, then the option is super. Rooms with a kitchen and a minimal but sufficient set of utensils. The room is cleaned every day, very clean. It is so safe that by the end of the vacation we completely relaxed and did not always close the door, leaving for breakfast and dinner, and leaving money on the table, nothing was missing. We would like to return next year to the same hotel.

I didn’t quite like the food, but an adult will not remain hungry. For kids, there was not always something to eat for dinner, everything was very salty, with spices. Children of four years and older already ate everything normally, the younger ones need to cook on their own, for this they chose a room with a kitchen. Internet in the hotel is paid. Our house was close to the highway, motorcycles driving without a silencer interfered with sleep, the children were scared at first, then they got used to it.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were not met, when we went in, at the reception 2 madams, they reacted to us as if we had been there 10 times, t No way, they went about their business, approached them and asked a question, they said that the number was ready, you can pass by circling the building on the card, the conversation ended there. Nobody bothered to see off and show the location of the house. We went on our own as in a quest 😅 according to the mark. They settled us in a pomegranate, I was just reading a review here and was in advance prepared that pomegranate is not an option for a comfortable pastime. But as it turned out, in fact, for us - a comfortable room, located on the second floor, overlooking the pool, in the morning the sun breaks through the window, who does not like to eat a thick curtain🙄. Yes, next to the restaurant, yes, opposite the stage, yes, you can hear the music, but it didn’t bother us, the music is hard to hear, the noise of the air conditioner interrupted; food did not smell; music plays exactly until 23:00 then silence sets in, the only noise is heard at night when Europeans or English teenagers gather in the restaurant and drink until late at night, but everyone on the territory hears it😫, probably except for the houses located on the second line. Teenagers behave, of course, defiantly, we understand that they go to the camp, but only without supervision, in small groups of up to 12 people, either only boys or girls. And this is everywhere in hotels in Cyprus. And you yourself understand the separation is in full. Because the staff reacts to their sometimes unbearable antics only positively and with a smile😩. They run in front of them. There are no questions about the location of the room. The room has insect ants in the bathroom, the room has a kitchen but we didn't cook. Once I saw a cockroach, in the next room the Germans often cooked, thinking that this was a consequence ... the desire to cook would disappear immediately ... Cockroaches are very large😣, running fast😲. The room is cleaned for 3, the floors are washed - dirt is simply waving in the corners, towels are changed every day. The beaches are all municipal, even if the hotel is on the first line, the cost of accessories is a sunbed 2.5 euros, an umbrella 2.5 euros. the issued check contains the password for wi-fi, it is given exactly for 8 hours, and it catches only on the territory of the place where you are. Cypriots come to the beach to relax with their families from early morning until evening, on weekends, if you are late, there may not be free sun loungers, they relax unobtrusively, quietly and calmly ... The food at the hotel is monotonous, of course you will not stay hungry, we are almost nothing really in the second week didn't eat. From seafood, 2 types of fish, such as pangasius, are served under different dressings, batter, that is, there are no seafood as such at all. What is left from lunch goes into salads for dinner, etc. Salads are not tasty. Once gave a duck. There is always pork. Potatoes in different variations. Free. There are types of crab balls in batter with claws, in fact, grated crab sticks. You won’t run away in the children’s menu ... nuggets and then every other time, although it seems to me that in the children’s menu they should be by default, or meat without seasonings, chicken was once, our child doesn’t eat meat in various gas stations ... By the way, about sparrows on they always have breakfast and lunch, and if you leave your plate and go for tea, for example, then a crowd of birds will immediately fly in and dig in your plate enough😲🤤😨 none of the staff will pay attention to this, and when you return, you will not continue eating suspecting what happened 🤢... The hotel area is also cleaned on a solid 3... glasses, fanatics, napkins were collected from the lawns in a couple by themselves. Regarding the night flight on the day of departure, like ours. The day before departure, you need to go to the reception and ask about extending the room, we needed it before 18:00, it cost 35 euros. We were refused with stone faces, and our arguments that we are with a child, and sitting waiting for 8 hours at the reception on hard 2 "x local sofas is not an option for us. At the beginning of the seventh evening, the boy from the bar brought a refreshing drink to the common reception desk ... no one will come up to you during the 8 hours of waiting and ask how are you? maybe you need water, etc. That is, you both drove into this institution “on your own” and leave “on your own”. About the guide. Guide Lidia - an ordinary guide sharpened to sell you a tour, in other matters relating to the island, etc., she is not competent! This hotel definitely does not pull on 4 European stars, and the price category in which it is located ... we will definitely not return to it !!! And all those diplomas that are so beautifully hung on the wall, and I had the opportunity to study them for 8 hours of waiting for the transfer, do not correspond to reality😈!…

I hereby confirm that the personal data transferred by me to the Agent are reliable and can be processed by the Agent and his authorized representatives.

I hereby give my consent to the Agent and the Tour Operator to send me emails/information messages to the email address and/or mobile phone number I have provided.

I hereby confirm that I have the authority to provide personal data of the persons specified in the Application, and I undertake to reimburse the Agent for any costs associated with my lack of appropriate authority, including losses associated with the sanctions of the inspection authorities.
