There are two ways to get to Procida: by ferries that run from Naples daily at intervals of 30 minutes (in season), or by speedboats. Regular routes are operated by vessels of the companies Caremar, Medmar, SNAV and Alilauro.

The price of tickets for regular routes to Procida is about 10-15 euros for a one-way trip.

Beaches around Naples

Lucrino – considered the cleanest beach in the vicinity of Naples. It is located in the Bagnoli-Pozzuoli district, 23 kilometers from the city. You can get to the beach in 30 minutes by train, which departs every half hour. Entrance to Lucrino beach is free, and there are not many people here.

Beach Bagno Elena is very popular in the town of Posillipo. It is equipped with everything necessary for a good rest: changing rooms, sun loungers, bars and a wooden pier. This beach has only one significant drawback: the sun leaves the coast very early - around 16:00-17:00.

You can get to the beach in about one hour: departure from Garibaldi metro station, get off at Mergellina station. After walking for 7 minutes, you need to take bus number 140 at the Margolina del Leone stop and get off at the Posillipo stop.

Marina di Licola– this beach in the vicinity of Naples will appeal to surfers, as there are often high waves here. However, it’s not worth going here for a classic beach holiday, because... The water on the beach is less clean than in other places.

The easiest way to get to Sorrento is by boat, which regularly departs from the port of Beverello. The sea journey will take about 45 minutes.
