Why I`m found of travelling.

Traveling for me is the best way to escape from difficulties of life and reality.

It`s so wonderful and unbelievable to know that you can see so many places, different countries, amazing people, become a witness of world`s miracles: Sahara Desert in Northen Africa,Taj Mahal in India, Pyramids in Egypt, the castle Noishvanshtain in Bavaria, Germany.

If you are a lucky person having enough money, time and desire you may go away from your native town, city or village; wandering all over the Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia, Southern and Northern America - so all over the world.

Nowadays travelling is so much popular amond people from big cities. The main reason is - they`re so tired and sick of constantly living in huge, dirty, noisy , crowded cities as Moscow, Mexico, Pekin, New York...

Many people are fond of a quet calm rest on the sand of the shore near the deep green sea. They're usually laying on the beach, drinking fruit juice and simply dreaming. Dark deep water is calling them. Sounds of waves make them fell safe and comfortable.

Other like more active rest. These enthusiasts are keen on cycling, walking on foot, boating sport. They go throught new place, buy souvenirs, have a talk with all guids. They are very sociable, sporty-healthy persons.

As for me, I enjoy taking photographs of beautiful natural landscapes: sparkling views of waterfalls, snowy trees, birds, excotic animals. Most of all I like making photos of sea and ships. Last time I saw a shipe during my summer holidays in Sochi two years ago. It was unforgettable.

My oldest dream is seeing Noishvanshtain, the castle which was built by Ludvig The Second, a bavarian prince. He was a lonely man with kind gray eyes living his liffe in loneliness. But who could imagine that his work will become a prototype of Disney`s simbol - Cinderella`s castle because of its magical and wistful vew/

All in all travelling is a theraphy from stresses and bad mood. We have to treasure our holidays and be ready to discover something new to make us live a full, an interesting, a real life.

Traveling for me is the best way to escape from everyday difficulties.

It's so beautiful and incredible to realize that you can see so many places different countries, amazing people, to witness the wonders of this world: the Sahara Desert in North Africa, the Taj Mahal in India, the Pyramids in Egypt, Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany.

If you are a lucky person with money, time and desire, you can rush far from your hometown or village, wandering through Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia, South and North America - around the world.

Currently, travel is so popular especially among people - residents of megacities. The main reason is their unbearable fatigue from permanently living in huge, polluted, noisy, densely populated cities like Moscow, Mexico City, Beijing, New York.

Many people like a calm, quiet holiday on the sandy shore next to the deep green sea. They usually lie on the beach sipping fruit juice and just daydreaming. Deep dark water is calling them. The sound of the waves gives a feeling of comfort and tranquility.

Others prefer more leisure. these enthusiasts love cycling, hiking, and river rafting. they go everywhere, buy souvenirs, start a conversation with all the guides. These are sociable, athletic people.

As for me, I love to take photos of beautiful natural landscapes: Sparkling waterfalls, snowy trees, birds, exotic animals. But most of all I like to shoot the sea and ships. The last time I saw a ship in Sochi was during my summer holidays 2 years ago. It was unforgettable.

My old dream is to see Neuschwanstein, the castle built by Ludwig II of Bavaria. It was a lonely grey-eyed man who spent his life alone. But who could have imagined that his work would become the prototype of the Disney symbol - Cinderella's Palace, because of its magical and wise image.

To sum up, travel is therapy against stress and bad mood. We should cherish the holidays and be ready to discover something new that encourages us to live a full, interesting, real life.

Not all these "social relations" from which you run the risk of not extricating yourself for the rest of your life. Not a false friendliness on the face to gain the trust of others ... I just send all this to hell for a while. All that's left are these old tennis shoes with worn soles. Only they - and nothing else. 1. And something to remember

Photos, memories, memorabilia, whatever you want to remember your trip with. Traveling is wonderful because even if the trip is over, you have the opportunity to remember every moment again and again.

  1. Will you try

Traveling is a great way to experiment with new things. You can try ziplining, white water rafting and just relax on the beach if you've never done it before. You will have a lot of opportunities to try something for the first time.

  1. It makes you better

Visiting new places is a great way to broaden your horizons. Travelers are more interesting, well-read and often more fun. Surround yourself with those who share your passion for travel and your interests in becoming a citizen of the world. And as a result, you will find yourself gradually getting better.”

I love to travel because travel gives a feeling of complete freedom. Traveling allows you to escape from the “ordinary” life, see what you have only seen in the movies, try new things and meet new people. Traveling awakens love and a thirst for life. Traveling expands our understanding of the world and saturates the soul. Traveling gives you the freedom to be yourself...

Live the way you like! Travel! Open new horizons for yourself, break stereotypes! Life is one - enjoy it!

I discovered solo travel in November 2012. Before that, Tanya and I (then still separately) often went on various excursion tours. But now all those early travels have mixed up in my head into such a mushy mess that, at times, I myself can’t even remember whether I was in a certain city or not. Well, I can, of course. But in order to give some more or less meaningful answer, I need to think for a while. As if those trips were for me just a set of pictures that floated outside the bus window ...

All that I remember from such sightseeing tours, which were organized for us by one or another Travel Company are groups of middle-aged women who constantly asked the organizers of the trip to let them go to some local store.

“Go. But we leave at five. I won’t look for you later,” some regular “tour guide” said, and then in a monotonous voice he again started some kind of hackneyed record in the style of “look to the left - look to the right.”

“This temple, which you will forget in five minutes, was built by order of the king, whose name you will forget even earlier” ...

I listened to such stories and thought to myself: “Maybe I should have run away with those ladies and hide in some local store?”. And then he averted his eyes to look out the window, behind which everyone floated and some pictures floated ...

We met Tanya in May 2012. And six months later, we went with her to ours. I don't even remember now which of the two of us suggested it. The idea was born by itself. And then we discussed some options for a long, long time and named the names of various European cities. Peter is too far. Moscow is too expensive. For or you need to open a visa. And at first, Tanya constantly laughed at the name and pronounced it exclusively with the letter “Y”.

There remained Ukraine, trips to which had not yet acquired political overtones. As a result, very soon we chose Kyiv. And a few days later, on the second attempt (because of my forgotten passport), we bought tickets to our first solo trip.

Our old soapbox photos edited with Pixlr-O-matic. Quality, as you understand, is appropriate.

You know, some bloggers get themselves various travel toys - nesting dolls, dogs, cubs ... And I carry this bag everywhere. Not because I want to stand out. Because I just like her. I have many fond memories of her. Although my mother sincerely believes that I take it with me only because today the inscription "I love Kyiv" has acquired a political connotation.

Okay… What am I talking about?.. Oh yeah, oh independent travel

After returning from Ukraine, Tanya and I began to travel to different cities much more often. And I have not forgotten these trips. Each of them left behind some emotions, feelings, memories. As if every journey was for us something like a small life that we lived in various cities.

You know, no matter what anyone says, but every city is not just a collection of streets, shops and houses. Each of them is unique. You just need to learn to notice this uniqueness. Independent travel around the world allow us to better understand how different and unlike each other European cities can be. They can be smiling like or gloomy like Charleroi. But, in spite of everything, each of them is remembered by something and forever sinks into the soul. You can travel hundreds of cities in your life. But, despite this, you will still remember each of them forever.

However, I really love solo travel not only for this reason. I have many more different reasons for this...

Five reasons why I love solo travel

  • Such trips allow you to better understand a foreign city.– mingle with the crowd and plunge into it with your head. I recently wrote that I always really like to “try on” new cities. I like to introduce myself as a local resident, go to ordinary shops and have breakfast in those cafes that are not in the city center, but on the next street from my house. Probably, this is also why Tanya and I constantly rent apartments on AIRBNB instead of hotels. After all, a hotel room always turns you into a foreigner. As if entering the door of another hotel, you seem to admit that you are not from here. And this is almost the same as looking at the city from the windows of a sightseeing bus - without intersecting with it, without plunging into the maelstrom of its life. As if there is you, and there is he. And there is also a glass bubble that separates you from each other. You feel like Captain Cousteau inside an underwater submersible...
  • Solo travel brings freedom. You go where you want and do only what you choose. You know, in many cities of the world there is a certain pool of attractions that are beyond the traditional tourist routes. Such as the Defense district in Paris, ruin bars in Budapest ... For example, I have been to ten times already, but only relatively recently I found out that in addition to numerous shops there is also a real palace, moreover, located right in the city center. Independent travel- give a lot of new discoveries. And no tour can compare with this.

  • Such trips are an opportunity to make interesting acquaintances. and see the new city through the eyes of its locals. Only this year we found good friends in Spain and Ukraine. And even met one too nice guy from Poland (Darek, I'm sorry that I deleted you from my Facebook friends). Each such acquaintance is a separate story and a topic for a separate article. Although I have already written about one of these acquaintances once before. Right here - .
  • Independent travel is an opportunity to see a new country for what it is. With all its advantages and disadvantages. I don't know if you noticed or not, but the streets/squares and towns that are usually shown to tourists can be very different from the real ones. For example, Egypt for tourists and Egypt for Egyptians are two completely different worlds. Although such examples (albeit not so eloquent).

And the last ... Well, to be honest? ..

  • Traveling alone is also a great way to save money.. This summer, Tanya and I organized ourselves a 9-day trip to the Canary Islands. And most recently, I went to Vilnius for a day and a half, giving for it. And the point here is not at all that I am such a super-mega-cool traveler. It's just that the prices of travel companies will always be higher than the prices that you can find for yourself. Like it or not, any travel company is, first of all, a commercial organization. Her goal is to make money on you. Therefore, they a priori cannot sell you tours at cost. Of course, there are exceptions. I personally saw tours to Goa at the price of an air ticket. But such proposals are rather an exception. And exceptions are just confirmation of the rule.

Alright enough. I won't bore you with my chatter. Travel on your own. And be happy. And then, perhaps, our world will be a slightly more pleasant place to live.
