So I decided to spend this vacation with my husband in Ayia Napa, staying at the Napa Plaza Hotel. I have already rested in this hotel twice, I really liked it, there were no complaints, so confidently, back in March, we booked a room, ROH category, with breakfast and dinner, from 09/02/2019 to 09/12/2019. The travel agency asked me to make a note that I prefer a room with a balcony, so that there is a place to dry beach towels and wet things. On past visits to the hotel, I was lucky with the rooms, the rooms were with balconies, once overlooking the courtyard, where the fountain is small, the second time with pool view. So, I was sure that this time there would be no problems. But it was not there. Arriving at the hotel, at the reception, at check-in, the girl immediately said that we would have a room without a balcony, overlooking the street, but if you wish, you can upgrade the room category for 180 euros. After a long journey, consisting of a train, a sleepless night at the airport and an airplane, there was no particular desire to argue, we went to the room, if I’m mistaken No. 027, and then I had a shock: the room is located above the bar, the window overlooks the cafe , as I already knew, unbridled fun every evening until 4 in the morning, then in the bathroom the door does not open completely, as there is a toilet bowl in its way and she merrily knocks on it, well, a shower stall, no structures for drying things are provided . That is, knowing what rooms this hotel has, I understand that we were settled in this cell in order to receive an additional amount from us. Well, ok, we went to the beach, swam, thought, I understood that I could not physically be in this closet, where it was impossible to open the window, because dust and constant noise would fly from the street, and it was also impossible to sleep there, but I arrived relax, and not be nervous, I have enough stress at work. We went to the reception again, I said that I didn’t expect such an attitude towards a regular client, that I didn’t agree to live in this closet for mops and that this problem had to be solved somehow, but 180 euros is too much. The receptionist left, consulted with someone, then said that she could offer a suite, overlooking the pool for 100 euros, there were no other options. Paid 100 euros, moved to room number 237, overlooking the pool. As compensation for non-pecuniary damage, they brought us bathrobes and slippers, what the hell would we need them for)) This “trifle” with the check-in really blurred the impression of the rest. A kind of "fly in the ointment". I faced the same situation in Turkey, but this is Cyprus! Level above Turkey. Why imitate? Immediately offer to upgrade the room, and not settle in normal rooms right away? Moreover, in the reviews, many complained about this. Also the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Example: we leave for breakfast at 7:30 (yes, I don’t like to eat in my room on vacation, when I can be on the beach, I can sleep at home), we return at about 15:30 - still not cleaned, although we are not there eight! hours. Then, after 16-00, when I just lay down to lie down, there was a knock on the door: here it is, housekeeping, very “on time”. Naturally, they said that nothing was needed, come tomorrow. And so for several days in a row. Then they hung up a sign to clean the room while we were gone. In the rest, everything remained on the level. The cuisine is beyond praise, I am glad that the menu has remained the same, I really wanted to taste the dishes that I remember in 2017. The atmosphere in the hotel is like in an oasis, buzz and relaxation. The location of the hotel is more than successful, all the necessary places are within walking distance, especially the Ocean Basket restaurant, with divine seafood. At the cocktail party, which took place closer to departure, a woman from the hotel management said that every 10th visit to the hotel is free. That is, a week of stay in a hotel with breakfast will be free of charge. Maybe someone will need this information. I'm not sure if I'll be back at Napa Plaza again though, who knows...…

For the first time we rest not on the "all inclusive" system and did not regret it at all. Breakfast and dinner were always very rich and tasty. The hotel is quite noisy at night. Since this is practically the center of Ayia Napa and the "Street of Bars" within walking distance. The territory of the hotel is like an oasis in the city center, enclosed on four sides by the walls of the building. Swimming pool, sun loungers, gym, spa, sauna, bar, sofas, pear chairs, a shop with reasonable prices and even a tennis court - everything is there. Wi-Fi really catches better in the bar area, closer to the reception, the connection is lost. The staff does their job well. Booked a garden view room but it was noisy. The next day they asked to change the room overlooking the pool. The room is clean and comfortable. It has good sound insulation. There were nice quality little things to care for hygiene. Cleaning was done daily. The quality of cleaning is not reflected in the tip. There are many different beaches near the hotel. White sand, absolutely transparent, calm sea. Insanely beautiful coastline. Vacation was a success! If we get a chance to go on vacation in the summer, we will definitely come back.

Let's start with the fact that upon check-in, a beautiful Russian-speaking girl at the reception indecently insisted on upgrading the room for 10 euros per person per day. Those. + 70 euros per person. Nobody told us anything, showed us where to swim, where to eat, amenities, etc., etc. After a long flight, with flight delays, I wanted to plunge into the pool and recover. Went to reception. asked for towels for the pool, to which the girl answered in a pronounced form that towels are provided from 9-17h. Naturally, no one informed about this. There are no questions about the rest of the reception staff, they are all very polite and friendly. Cleaning in the room leaves much to be desired: either they don’t change the towels (they were lying on the floor), they forget to put new ones, or cosmetic accessories, you had to constantly call the reception. The floors are dirty, nobody vacuums.

Great location, the windows overlooked the city, but the music was not heard. Large selection of food for breakfast. Gorgeous pool with delicious cocktails.

I stay at this hotel not the first time. I like the location and the youthful spirit of this hotel. The rooms that overlook the city until 3 am are very noisy from the nightclub right outside the windows. It must be understood that the hotel is right in the center of the settlement. If you are looking for a quiet place with access to the sea, then you simply do not come here. You have to walk to the beach. But entertainment and food are all within walking distance.

Excellent breakfasts and dinners with good variety. Especially dinners, which every day of the week are dedicated to different cuisines of the world. The pool is small but there is enough space. One socket with an adapter, there was no clothes dryer.

We rested in the suite for 3 days, we liked absolutely everything. Room 002 itself is just wonderful, spacious, with a large terrace with sun loungers, well equipped, slippers, bathrobes, capsule coffee machine, kettle, tea, coffee, creamer, iron and ironing board, refrigerator. Comfortable huge bed, pillow menu. Hairdryer, large TV, suitcase stand, good powerful hair dryer. Champagne, wine, fruit, Turkish delight for our birthday were waiting for us on arrival. Bottle of water. Cleaned well, every day. Great pool, amazing food: we had a full board: chic breakfast buffet, a la carte lunch, huge portions, delicious dishes. Dinners every day are themed, very tasty. The staff is very good. Many people speak Russian, the waitress Mira from Bulgaria is very pleasant, she always ran only when she saw us. Excellent a la carte restaurants, we were in Greek, loved it. With full board you can get a discount of 15 euros per person for a meal when visiting a restaurant, we liked it, took 2 servings of grilled king prawns for 15 euros, and paid only for wine. Celebrated my dr, everything was great. The central bar has very good hookahs for 18 euros. Our holiday was a success.

The quality of the rooms is terrible. Initially, we were settled, as we were told later, in a room above the ordered category - Suite (I indicated that the purpose of the trip was to celebrate a birthday). So, the Suite differs from the Superior class in half a meter long room, but the furniture is the same shabby, in our room there was a burnt bedspread, dirty curtains and a broken desk drawer. After my complaints to the administrator, we were shown other rooms, which did not differ much from the first in shabby. And only the room category is higher than the Suite, which is actually larger and with its own terrace, was more or less acceptable in quality and decor (at least the furniture did not fall apart).

Breakfast, like in any ordinary hotel in Turkey, was not surprised by the variety, but delicious. Large pool, very nice masseuse at the spa, and overall friendly staff.

There are many cafes, restaurants and shops around. To the sea 10 minutes walk at a leisurely pace. Good breakfasts. There is a choice of dishes for every taste. Many write in reviews that noise from nearby bars, cafes, nightclubs interferes. But I came under the closing of the season and from November 01, nightclubs did not work. "Repair, urgent repair of everything!"

I am sure that once this hotel was one of the best, but everything is outdated, everything wears out. Exactly in the same rooms, I rested 10 years ago, and 15 years ago too. Given the age of the hotel, it quickly catches the eye that only cosmetic repairs are periodically done, and the hotel needs a complete renovation! Indeed, at this age, small, but very annoying little things begin to appear. Leaking air conditioning, always cooling to the maximum (the thermostat does not work), frequent blockages in the bathroom and other little things that you encounter in old rooms around the world. Incredibly small bathroom, the door opening inwards almost hitting the sink. Well, it’s quite obvious that the balconies face the courtyard, it can be a parking lot or neighboring houses, so it’s better to pay extra for a view of the pool. Terrible room! It’s just shamefully terrible, it would be better if they closed it altogether, and didn’t write that it exists. Air conditioning not working in the gym is the most popular form of bullying bodybuilders on vacation. But here, in addition to everything else, the state of everything in the room is terrifying, not to touch. I am sure that nothing has changed here since the opening of the hotel, and it is quite ancient. Neighboring clubs are noisy, (including you :D) until 2:30 at night. But this is more likely not a minus, but a given, because you must understand where you are going. Those who are sensitive to noise will not be able to sleep. The sea, which is 10 minutes away, is rocky and generally not good. You will have to go to famous beaches, I will not be an exception, I will recommend Nissi. White sand, clear water, club bar on the beach, foam parties 2 times a week. Taxi 8-10 minutes, 8-10 euros. Alas, comparing world experience, this hotel does not correspond to 4 * for a long time. But given the absence of children in the hotel, and a poor choice of hotels with this option, it is enough a good place for club and active rest, because you will spend less time in the hotel.

No kids, very central, just 3 minutes from the popular club street. (Actually, just for the sake of these 2 points, it is worth choosing this particular hotel when planning an appropriate vacation.) Very tasty restaurants for every taste, I highly recommend trying local dishes. Breakfast buffet - large, corresponds to 4 * but, like everywhere else, quickly gets bored. Romantic evening area near the pool, drinks and hookah in a beautiful setting. The staff is nice, smiling and always happy to help. Complements from the hotel in the middle and end of the holiday. (Bar-reception, wine in the room.) WiFi is excellent, the speed is on the level. Nice hotel for couples! But unfortunately not worth the money!
