Skyrim imperials walkthrough. Skyrim, Imperial Legion: passage secrets, tips, tricks

Legate Rikke, a middle-aged northerner, is in charge of tactics in the Imperial Legion.

The Imperial Legion is an expeditionary army fighting the rebels for the good of Tamriel, which is now ruled by the elves of the Thalmor. The legion's creed is law and order, and General Tullius, not without reason, believes that a seceding Skyrim will not benefit either the Empire or himself.

Tasks for the legion largely repeat the tasks of the Stormcloaks - only in a "mirror" form. However, there are differences in the plot. We will briefly describe the "duplicate" tasks and talk more about the discrepancies.

Joining the Imperial Legion

The leader of the bandits of Hragstad admires the map so enthusiastically that he forgot about everything in the world.

You can get a task to join the ranks of the legionnaires at the very beginning, if you select the legionnaire Hadvar when fleeing from Helgen. At the exit from the cave, he will offer the hero to go to General Tullius and enlist in the army. If you didn't get this quest, or if you chose the rebel Ralof while fleeing, just go up to any legionnaire you meet (they often roam the roads, accompanying the prisoners) and take it.

General Tullius lives in Solitude's Dark Castle. When you enter the legion headquarters, the general will argue with legate Rikke. Since communication with Tullius under Helgen was, frankly, short, he will immediately send us to the legate, and she will offer a test task. We need to clear the fortress of Hragstad from the bandits - so that the legion establishes an outpost there.

This task is much more difficult than the entrance test of the Stormcloaks. There was only one, albeit a strong monster, and here - a whole fort with a dozen bandits. Part wanders outside, part in the courtyard, part on the walls of the castle, one on the tower, and the rest - in the main and in the prison premises of the fortress. There are no special puzzles here. All enemies are indicated by arrows on the compass, so you won’t be in danger of missing the “last sectoid”.

Return to the Gloomy Castle, listen to the conversation about the Jagged Crown - legate Rikke persuades the general to send troops (including "auxilia", that is, us) to capture the crown. After the conversation, Rikke will rejoice at our success and send him to Tullius to take the oath. The solemn oath will mark the failure of the quest to join the ranks of the Stormcloaks, if you have one.

jagged crown

“And here is your panama!” - Legate Rikke hits another Storm Brother with a shield. The real Valkyrie!

This quest mirrors what the Stormcloaks give out if you choose the Rebel path. In the ancient Korvanjund cairn, the Jagged Crown was found - an important symbol of the supreme power of Skyrim, and now the first to enter the dungeon were no longer legionnaires, but rebels. General Tullius does not understand why the crown is needed, but legate Rikke convinced him that it was impossible to give such a valuable thing to Ulfric.

Before you go to Korvanjund, take a legionary set from the blacksmith Beirand - light armor, heavy or medium (it is also light, but with a heavy shield).

The place we need on the map is located north of Whiterun and east of the Lorea farm. A group of legionnaires stands in the woods near the cairn and listens to Rikke's briefing. After the conversation, the whole gang will move to the burial ground, where the Storm Brothers will meet us.

You can not fight at all - the legate of Rikke is indestructible, and the accompanying fighters are reborn. But there is nothing wrong with helping your own. Several soldiers are on duty outside, the rest are hiding inside and so far they are not waiting for us. When Rikke announces an ambush, go up a level and bring down burning lamps on the rebels standing in oil with their feet.

At the secret door, pick up the ebony claw and use the wolf-butterfly-dragon combo. In the hall with coffins, go up to the upper level and, by turning the lever, help Rikka and the legionnaires get rid of the draugrs. After that, all that remains is to remove the crown from the draugr, who sits on the throne in a relaxed pose. To do this, you need to kill him and a couple of his assistants from the sarcophagi on the sides.

Take the crown, the word of Power - and return to Tullius. You can also give the crown to Ulfric - then you will go over to his side. This is the last opportunity to switch factions.

Message for Whiterun

In Dragon's Reach, a council of war is underway, while the Stormcloaks are already approaching the walls of the city.

This task is also “mirror”, but this time it’s not Ulfric who offers us to take the ax to the Jarl of Whiterun, but vice versa - the Jarl of Whiterun asks us to take his ax to Ulfric (and is just as annoyed if you ask: “Why the ax?”). True, first, on the instructions of Tullius, you need to come with a message from the legion to the Dragon Limit and listen to how the jarl consults with those close to him.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: the quest cannot be completed until the plot task “Dragon in the Sky” is completed - the jarl will simply refuse to accept the message.

Then we run with an ax to Ulfric, and after that the differences begin: we do not take Whiterun, but defend it. The council of war in the room above the throne room is held in company with the imperial legate. He accepts the task "Message for Whiterun" from us and issues the following - "Battle of Whiterun".

Battle of Whiterun

Hadvar can easily see the mote in the eye of his neighbor, but in his own he does not notice the arrow.

Flames are pouring from the sky on Whiterun - the city is being fired upon by catapults. Legate Rikke is waiting outside the gate. When she sees us, she will make a speech to a handful of warriors who are about to clash with another handful of warriors.

The battle of Whiterun is done according to the usual pattern, which was already described in the passage for the Stormcloaks: weak fighters on both sides, they are reborn, and the dead enemies are marked on the percentage counter. When it reaches zero, we win. The only difference is that here we have a couple of side objectives: defending the barricades at the gate and defending the drawbridge if the barricades fall.

Keeping even a bridge or a gate intact is a difficult task, since there are many enemies and they are capable of demolishing flimsy "goats" in a couple of blows or shots. You can break through to the stables where the Stormcloaks are respawning and try to distract them. And you can use the bug.

One way or another, you do not have to complete side tasks, and indeed participate in the battle. When it is over, mark yourself in front of the Jarl (he will come out of the gate to make a speech) and return to Tullius, who will give us the title of quaestor.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: the remaining quests are collected under the name "Unification of Skyrim".

Disinformation

"And the Stormcloaks are running?" - "Everyone is running!"

Our new assignment is to take back control of the White Shore. In the White Coast camp, the hero will be met by Rikke and given another "mirror" task. Like the Stormcloaks, you need to hunt down and kill the courier. To do this, look into the Night Gate tavern or the Windhelm establishment Hearth and Candle. The bartender will tell you where to look for a courier - for money, for threats or persuasion. After that, an arrow will appear on the map, indicating our goal. Kill the courier, take the documents and deliver to Rikka.

The second part of the task is to take the documents to Dawnstar, to the commander named Frockmar Torn Banner. After the usual conversation (“why not in shape?” - “so that the enemy does not guess!”), The task will be completed. Return to Legate Rikka.

Battle of Fort Dunstad

The most peaceful place in Dunstad is the Clumsy Sabertooth Inn. Above the fireplace is the sabertooth itself.

To finally recapture the region from the Stormcloaks, you need to storm Fort Dunstad. This is not a quest, but a battle - the enemies here are weak, constantly respawning, and the percentage counter shows how much is left to chop and stab before victory.

After the battle, Tullius will make the hero a prefect and send him to the Rift.

Military booty

The target is sentry. A volley of two arrows should take him down.

Rikke will issue another "mirror" task - with blackmail. Our target is Anuriel, Jarl's ruler of Riften. She does business with the Thieves Guild, and a damning note can be found in a chest of drawers in her office. Wave a note in front of Anuriel's face, and she, having led you to the office, will tell you about a wagon with a valuable cargo. The wagon travels from Riften to Windhelm - it travels slowly and is poorly guarded. The information is very helpful.

Return to Rikka, and she will send you to meet with the scouts who have settled north of Riften, at the watchtower of Shor. At the head of the scouts - Hadvar. As in the similar task of the Storm Brothers, the wagon broke down, and we have two options: attack the guards ourselves or with the help of scouts (they will help with fire). Scouts can be persuaded to wait for the night, but there is no point in this.

The sentry wanders on a high rock - if you accept the help of Hadvar's group, they will "remove" him from the bows.

The wagon is guarded by several Stormcloaks. If there is no desire to fight, you can run circles from them until the immortal Hadvar finishes off the last one. Don't forget to loot the chest on the cart. Talk to Hadvar and return to the legate.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: if you completed the story quest "Endless Time" and Riften went to the Empire, this quest will not be given to you at all.

Battle of Fort Greenwall

Fort Greenwall is a powerful wall and a small courtyard.

The Battle of Fort Greenwall is another typical battle. The fort is located north of Riften. When ours win and the enemy counter is reset, return to Tullius. He will say that the legion is already at the very threshold of Ulfric, and soon the decisive battle. And we are going to Winterhold, to the secret camp.

Fort Kastav - Rescue Comrades

Everywhere they shone with torches, they searched everywhere - they did not find weapons.

The legate will give a new alignment: the captured legionnaires are languishing in Fort Kastav. Hadvar's sabotage group has taken refuge in the hills below the fort, and they will be happy to send us forward to rescue the legionaries.

Unlike the "mirror" task for the Stormcloaks, you won't have to look for a secret entrance for a long time. The hatch is right under the wall. Inside the fortress - a few sentries. The key can be stolen from them, but it will not bring much benefit, so it is better to free the captives by removing the keys from the bodies. The prisoners will return the armor, but it’s tight with weapons, so they will have to help in the battle - they won’t win much with their fists.

Find Hadwar in or near the fortress, give him an account and return to Tullius, who will make the hero a legate and issue heavy Daedric armor.

Battle of Fort Amol

Quite unexpectedly, Fort Amol, along with the legionnaires, was attacked by an ancient dragon. They finished him off only in the morning.

Our next stop is the camp at Eastmarch, from where the hero will be sent to fight for Fort Amol. This is a classic "percentage" fight - the last one in the story. After him, the legate Rikke will immediately send to Windhelm, where the final act of the drama about the struggle between the “reds” and the “blues” is about to happen.

Battle of Windhelm

"We meet again, my old enemy!"

Fire charges from Ulfric's catapults are flying from the city, but General Tullius and the soldiers are already standing in the "dead zone" at the very gates. After a short speech, the group will enter the city.

The main task is not to destroy the enemies, but to go through the whole city and get to the royal palace as quickly as possible, where the Jarl of Windhelm sat down. The main passage to the palace is littered with barricades (real this time, which cannot be penetrated by sword or arrow), so we will have to immediately turn left, go down to the cemetery, go through narrow streets under the figurines of ravens, turn right under high walls and thus be at the entrance to the palace. Enemies will respawn on our way, so if you are not confident in your abilities, stick to the main group of legionnaires.

Nothing needs to be done inside. If you wish, help Tullius and Rikka deal with Ulfric and his faithful dog Galmar. The last choice is to deal the final blow to the defeated jarl or salute the general.

In any case, the war is won, and we only have to destroy individual groups of Stormcloaks hiding in the hills if we wish!

general information

The Imperials are perhaps the most advanced human race, sometimes referred to as the Cyrodiils. The natives of Cyrodiil are persuasive in their speeches, they are charismatic, and therefore they make excellent merchants and diplomats. They are not as strong as the Nords and Redguards, not versed in the magical arts as the Altmer and Bretons, they are not as agile and fast as the Bosmer and Khajiit, but it was they who were able to conquer all the provinces of Tamriel. Thanks to military discipline and the excellent training of their soldiers, the wise emperors of Cyrodiil were able to bring prosperity to the Empire and many provinces.

emergence

The Nedic peoples settled across Tamriel at the end of the Elven Era. Some of them settled in the current Skyrim and now we know them as Nords, others settled in the lands of High Rock and Hammerfell, where, creating alliances with the elves, they changed and became the current Bretons. Other weeks eventually reached the central part of the continent, which at that time was under the control of the Ayleid race. Unlike the Dyrenia clan, the Ayleids did not see fit to share the land with humans, and the ancestors of the current Imperials were enslaved by the Wild Elves for centuries, enduring their incredible atrocities. A turning point in the history of the people of Cyrodiil was the birth of Alessia. She rebelled, overthrew the elven rulers, and took over the White-Gold Tower as Queen of Cyrodiil. So the first Cyrodiil Empire was born, the people were called the Imperials. The descendants of the slaves, ironically, began to rule the vast Tamriel Empire, subjugating all other peoples.

Culture and religion

After seizing power, Alessia needed to be resolved as a problem of worshiping the Aedra in a way that would not offend either elves or humans. Alessia created a new pantheon that reflected the religions of Men and Elves. Years passed and many races of Tamriel gained faith in new gods. Even in Morrowind, where the Tribunal's propaganda reached unimaginable heights, some Dunmer accepted the Empire's faith in the pantheon of the Eight. After the death of the founder of the Septim empire, the pantheon became known as "Eight and One", Talos became a new god, the god of people, who was accepted into the pantheon by the people and others of Aedra for his deeds during his lifetime. This event was extremely disliked by the Altmer of Summerset. But in the empire, the Cult of Talos flourished, in the arboretum of the Imperial City, Talos stands in the center of the pantheon, and in Skyrim, the Nords erected a dozen monuments of Talos with its sanctuaries and associated many customs with the worship of Talos.

The culture of the Empire was undoubtedly influenced by the elven culture, the main attraction of Tamriel - the White-Gold Tower belongs to the elves and it is the center around which the city arose. It is not known who wrote the Oghma Infinium, the book of knowledge that Hermaeus Mora rewards the worthy, but this book contains a drawing that very accurately repeats the layout of the Imperial City. The empire has the largest library and the main center of the Guild of Mages, the founder of which was also an Elf. In addition, the very religion and language of the Imperials took much from the Elven Culture.
However, it wasn't just the elves that influenced the Imperials. The Akaviri rulers brought many changes to the culture of Cyrodiil. The dragon guards spread their houses and temples on the territory of the Empire. The army of the Empire owes its weapons and training to the Akaviri Potentates. The main symbol of the empire - the image of Akatosh was taken from the Akaviri. Despite the fact that the reign of the Potentates has long passed, echoes of their culture are still present in the lands of the Empire.

Short story

In 242 1E, Alessia took advantage of the civil war among the Ayleids and started a rebellion against Elven domination. The rebellion received support from Skyrim and many rebellious Ayleid lords. The Cyrodiils believe that the Ayleids used Daedric hordes against the rebellion. In order to protect people from the arbitrariness of the Daedric princes, who sent the armies of the lower Daedra to help the Ayleids, an agreement was concluded between Alessia and Akatosh. According to the agreement, as long as the kind of Alessia honors Akatosh, he will keep the gates of Oblivion closed. Akatosh gave Alessia and her descendants the Amulet of Kings and lit the Dragonfires in the Imperial City. The ancient ancestors of the Cyrodiils defeated their masters, and Alessia, who was later called the Slave Queen, captured the White-Gold Tower. The former masters of the people, the Ayleids, eventually faded into the background, and their tribes were lost among the expanses of Cyrodiil.

During this period, Cyrodiil was a rather small, fragmented and weak state. Part of the Nibenay Valley was controlled by Skyrim, in many remote areas of Cyrodiil, Ayleid lords ruled, who supported the rebellion. Thousands of years passed before Cyrodiil gained real power.

Gods from the pantheon of former slaves of the White-Gold Tower and from the pantheon of northerners were chosen as official deities. In other words, there was a chaotic jumble of elven and human elements of culture and religion in Cyrodiil. The religion of the Eight Divines, founded by Alessia, managed not only to survive all the persecution and troubles, but also to become one of the dominant cults in Tamriel.

Many people left the Nibenay Valley in order to seize the frontier territories in the west. They did not want to earn their livelihood by hard work, and they put robbery and robbery at the top of their list of activities. These people took over Nedic port cities and engaged in piracy until about 1E 810. These lands were called the Colovian West and, apparently, were dependent on their eastern neighbors.

After Alessia's death in 1E 266, the Council of Elders elected a second Cyrodiil Emperor, Belkharza (Bull-Man).

In 1E 358, the combined army of the Emperor of Cyrodiil and the Northern Empire attacked the Direnni clan in the Western Reach. Judging by the fact that the Direnni, some time later, slaughtered all the northern settlers in this area, the attack was successful, and the Western Reach temporarily came under the control of Skyrim.

In 361 1E the Prophet Marukh saw in his messages the spirit of the Slave Queen. Alessia called for the suppression of elven dominance throughout Tamriel and the elimination of elven deities from the pantheon of the cult of the Eight Divines. Maruch became the founder of the Alessian Order and the Alessian Doctrine. The underlying idea was the belief in some abstract single god, but spiritual leaders, the heads of the Order, actively included many polytheistic beliefs in their doctrine in order to expand the audience. The worship of gods from the pantheon of the Eight Deities was eradicated, people were ordered to worship ancient spirits and animal gods. So much hatred for the Ayleids accumulated among the people that the Alessian Order gained widespread support among the population and seized power in Cyrodiil.

The time following the introduction of the Alessian Doctrines was rather uncomfortable for the population - in the first place, not rationality was valued, but the desire to be as different from the elves as possible. Most of the traditional entertainments and pleasures were banned, people everywhere destroyed elven books and bans were introduced against eating the meat of certain animals. The latter circumstance led to the decline of agriculture, so the eastern Cyrodiils had to engage in trade. Over time, the development of trade led to the fact that the Nibenay Valley became the richest city-state in the region. The new religion turned out to be quite viable and managed to rally people around one idea.

The population of western Cyrodiil initially did not want the introduction of a new religion. Thus, the inhabitants of the West continued to worship the pantheon of the Eight Divines, and relations with the East, where the Doctrines were revered, were hopelessly damaged. As a result, western Cyrodiil completely protected itself from the Nibenai Valley and created an independent state on its territory - Colovia.

The Alessian Doctrine from Eastern Cyrodiil spread throughout the lands of the northerners, who were also notorious for their hostility towards the elves. In 1E 369, the Wild Hunt, a group of mutated Bosmer, killed King Borgas of the Nords for the injustice done to the elves by the Alessian faith. The War of Succession that broke out in Skyrim after this event weakened the Northern Empire, and it fell apart. This allowed Gorius, the Alessian Emperor, to attack Skyrim in 1E 477. At the Battle of Sungard, the High Warlord of Skyrim was killed and the Alessians took over the lands of southern Skyrim.

In 1E 478, Dorald, one of the junior princes in the royal family of Skingrad, inherited the throne of that kingdom. Since Dorald was a priest in the Imperial City and an ardent follower of the Alessian Cult, he handed Skingrad over to the Alessian Empire by his first decree. Since Skingrad was originally a Colovian kingdom, the decision of its new king met with fierce resistance. Dorald was beheaded by his younger brother Rislav, to whom the throne of the kingdom passed. Gorius, the Alessian Emperor, sent troops to quell the rebellion, but his army was defeated. The Alessian Empire was weakened and attacked by the Direnni clan. The kings of Colovia entered into an alliance, resisting the advance of the Alessians. Skyrim also joined the resistance.

In 1E 482, the forces of the Direnni elven clan, united with the forces of the last of the Ayleid kings, defeated the Alessian army at the Glenumbrian Heathers. At the same time, King Wulfhart came to power in Skyrim, who restored the traditional pantheon of the northerners, having previously destroyed the Temples of Alessia and executed the priests of the Alessian Cult.

It should be noted that here there is a serious confusion with dates. According to the Encyclopedia of Tamrielica, the Alessian Order existed for 1008 years, and from the data of the Imperial Guide to the Empire, at least 1839 years of the rule of the Alessian Order can be confirmed. The studies of the scholar Fal Drun try to explain the inconsistencies by the fact that the period of the existence of the Order actually lasted about one hundred and fifty years, because the length of the year at that time was different each time and depended on the duration of the visions of the High Priestess. Unfortunately, the Alessian Order could not exist for one hundred and fifty years either, because it is known that the Colovians, defending themselves from the Alessian Empire, covered themselves with Hammerfell as a shield, and the first Redguards appeared in Hammerfell in the year 808 3E. The most popular explanation for this confusion is still the Dragon Break, an event that occurred in the First Era and disrupted the normal flow of time throughout Tamriel.

In 2200 1E, the Thrassian Plague began to mow down the inhabitants of western Tamriel. Bendu Olo, King of the Colovian city of Anvil, has led a massive allied fleet to exact revenge on the Sload Beastmen. The so-called All Flags Fleet reached the Thras archipelago and destroyed every Sload they could find. Colovia was glorified throughout the world and began to overshadow the richer and more famous East. Ultimately, this led to the War of Justice. The war was lost by the Nibenay Valley and, around 2321 1E, the Alessian Order collapsed. The doctrines of Alessia fell into oblivion, but the Nibenai Valley was long famous for its strange customs and cults. Modern Cyrodiils profess to believe in the Nine Divines and have long ceased to call Marukh the Holy Prophet. Much more often before the word "prophet" there is an epithet of "monkeys" or "clownish".

For almost four hundred years after the fall of the Alessian Order, Cyrodiil was fragmented into small kingdoms and cities. The unification began in 2703 1E, during the invasion of Tamriel by the Akaviri army. Reman, a native of the Colovian West, led the fight against the Tsaesci, and united all of Cyrodiil under the banner of a war of liberation. When Reman took the throne, he instituted a special ceremony for the coronation of Emperors involving the Amulet of Kings. It seems that since then, the coronation of each new Emperor was considered completed only after he re-ignited the Dragon Fires with the Amulet of Kings.

After stubborn fighting in the territory of Skyrim, Reman defeated the Akaviri army in the White Pass. There was a military threat from the side of the elves from the Summerset Isles, Reman took this into account and convinced the captive Akaviri in exchange for life to act as the main striking force of the people. Later, the army of the Nibenay Valley was trained in the knowledge of the Akaviri in the art of war. In addition, the Akaviri established many positions and government structures in the country. One of the most notable was the position of the Imperial Advisor - Ruler. As a rule, the Akaviri became the Sovereigns. The Imperial legions, having learned the principles of tactics and discipline from the lessons of the Akaviri, subjugated all the other regions of Tamriel. Cyrodilic became the language of all official documents, replacing the Altmeri language. The last major conquest of the Second Empire was the capture of a large part of the Black Marsh. In 2E 2837 Black Marsh was proclaimed an Imperial Province.

In 1E 2840, war broke out with Morrowind, in which the Second Empire was bogged down for a long 80 years. The war ended in 2920, when Morrowind agreed to small territorial concessions, and Emperor Reman III and his heir apparent died at the hands of assassins. The year in which the War of the Four Scores ended marked the beginning of the Age of Decline. The Akaviri Overlord Versidue-Shaie has seized power. Akaviri began to have a significant impact on the Empire, foreign Akaviri weapons and armor began to be supplied to it. The reign of the Akaviri Sovereigns lasted four hundred years, and traces of Akaviri culture could still be seen in the Imperial City for a very long time.

The Second Empire came to an end in 2E 430 when the Overlord of Sevirien-Chorak and his heirs died at the hands of an assassin from the Morag Tong. Warlord Attrebius briefly took over the Imperial Throne and persecuted the Akaviri. They all found refuge in the outback of northwestern Elsweyr, founding the kingdom of Rimmen around 2E 814.

After the heirs of Dir-Kamal managed to take the throne from the successors of Attrebius, the rulers of Cyrodiil were replaced one after another. Orsinium, the Black Marsh and all other provinces broke away from the Empire, and Cyrodiil itself was again divided into East and West. For over 400 years, Cyrodiil has not been a force to be reckoned with. Only once during this period did the Colovian Estates attempt to influence another state by intervening in a civil war in Valenwood. Due to the military intervention of the Altmer, Colovia was defeated.

During the interregnum, the Empire was drowning in internecine wars. For some time it was ruled by the Reachmen, the Reachmen. Their leader Leovik, not possessing dragon blood, could not light the dragon fires in the Temple of the One. Under him, a savage Reacher regime was founded, known as the "House of Emperors".
In 579 2E One of the contenders for the throne was the Earl of Cheydinhall, Varen Aquilaros. He gained unprecedented influence, suppressing the rest of the dynasties and overthrowing the "House of Emperors". The path to the Ruby Throne was clear. Varen's companions included Abnur Tharn, the Grand Chancellor, his daughter Clivia, Redguard Sai Sahan, and Mannimarco. Mannimarco convinced Varen to perform a special ritual with the Amulet of Kings, assuring that after it the dragon fires would not only light up, but Akatosh himself would bless him with dragon blood and divine power.
At the time of the ritual, Mannimarco's magic corrupted the magic of the Amulet of Kings, and a cataclysm occurred in the Imperial City, now called the Explosion of Souls. Sai Sahan fled with the Amulet of Kings, Varen was killed, Abnur Tharn joined Mannimarco. Clivia Tharn became Empress of Cyrodiil. vast areas of the Empire were consumed by Daedric fire, and the first Dark Anchor fell to the ground. Molag Bal's invasion has begun.
Three Alliances - the Daggerfall Covenant, the Aldmeri Dominion, and the Ebonheart Pact - have their eyes on the Empire. Each of them pursued their own reasons for seizing power. In this confrontation, Chorrol suffered greatly, and was constantly attacked by various factions and changed hands. Due to the low level of literacy at that time and the chaos that reigned throughout Tamriel, at the moment it is not clear for sure what happened there, however, by the time of the Talos Conquests, the invasion of Molag Bal was stopped, and all associations fell apart. Mannimarco was defeated during the battle with his friend from the past - Vanus Galerion.

Some rulers of Cyrodiil dreamed of resurrecting the old Reman Empire. Kuleikhan, the Colovian king of Falkreath, with the aid of the dragonborn general Talos, conquered the Nibenay Vale and most of Cyrodiil. Moreover, an untrained and lightly armed army defeated the combined forces of Skyrim and High Rock at the Battle of Sancre Tor. After this victory, the leaders of the Bretons were executed, and the troops of the northerners went over to the side of Cyrodiil. Just before the coronation, in 3E 854, the King and his general were assassinated by a Nightblade hired in High Rock. After the assassination attempt, Talos and Kulei Khan had their throats cut, but the general survived, although he lost his mighty voice. Talos assumed the throne of Cyrodiil, taking the Cyrodiil name Tiber Septim.

As early as 2E 864, Tiber Septim controlled all of High Rock, Skyrim, and Hammerfell. Tamriel was divided into two camps - the human Empire and the territories under the control of the Ancient Races. The latter included the territories of the Summerset Isles, Valenwood, and Morrowind. Morrowind was not part of a single elven coalition, and the first blow fell upon him. Several bases were prepared in Skyrim, the invasion of Morrowind was carried out in all directions. Morrowind failed to defend its borders with Skyrim and Cyrodiil and capitulated. Not wanting to give the Dunmer an excuse for guerrilla warfare, Tiber Septim agreed to peace. Most of the terms of the peace treaty were known to the general public, and only one of the terms was suppressed. Tiber Septim received from the Dunmer at his disposal a powerful Dwemer golem, Numidium. A secret experimental base, the Halls of the Colossus, was created in Elsweyr. The Imperial Battlemage, Tsurin Arctus, sacrificed his heart to activate the Numidium.

The Golem was not as strong as the Dwemer had once planned, for Mantella's strength was no match for the Heart of Lorkhan. However, Numidium defeated the forces of the Aldmeri Dominion, forcing the elves into submission to the Empire. This eventually led to a conflict with Tsurin Arctus, who, in the form of the Underking, demanded that his heart be returned to him. As a result of the conflict, Numidium disintegrated, and its wreckage was scattered throughout Tamriel. Mantella has left Nirn, and Arctus is dead forever.

The authorities of the Empire subjugated all the main kingdoms of Tamriel. Although Morrowind and Hammerfell have achieved a special status for themselves, the main work of unifying Tamriel has been done. This moment came in 2E 896, and the following year was declared the end of the Age of Decline and the beginning of a new Age, the Third.

After the long reign of Tiber Septim and his death in 3E 38, the throne passes to his grandson Pelagius I. A succession of rulers changes. In 110 3E, Tamriel is attacked by the inhabitants of Pyandonea, led by Orgnum, provoked by Potema. The Imperial Navy, aided by the Psijic Order, destroys the Pyandoneans.

In 3E 111, the order of the Knights of the Nine was created, and the search for the relics of the Holy Crusader began.

In 121 3E, the War of the Red Diamond begins. The Order of the Knights of the Nine is split, many relics are lost. Potema Septim's allies captured Queen Kintyra II. In 123 Frost Month 23, Kintyra II dies, and this tribute becomes known as the Day of the Broken Diamond. The allies began to leave Potema Septim, named the Wolf Queen of Solitude. Potema began to attract the undead to her side, and by the end of the war in her army there were only ghouls, led by vampires. Solitude, which was the outpost of the Wolf Queen, is called the Dead City. In 127 3E, Cephorus defeats the army of Potema's son Septim and captures him. During the journey, an angry mob attacked the prisoner's wagon and killed Uriel III. In 137 3E, Potema Septim dies within the walls of Solitude. The son of Magnus - Pelagius III becomes the ruler of Solitude, where he marries Kataria, a Dunmer from the Ra "atim clan.

In 3E 145, Pelagius III, the Mad, takes the throne of the Empire, Katariah becomes queen regent under the mad Emperor, and after the death of Pelagius in 153, she becomes the full queen of Tamriel, the only elf in history who legally occupied the Imperial throne. She earned the respect of the Council of Elders and the Empire prospered throughout her reign. In 200 3E, Katariah dies while fighting in Black Marsh.

In 3E 249, the Camoran Usurper passes through the colony and sweeps away the city of Kvatch that stands in his way. Antus Pinder heroically defended the city. When the city was recaptured, a statue of the Hero of Kvatch was erected in his honor on the square in front of the chapel.

In 3E 268, Uriel V ascends the throne and begins the wars of conquest, in which the small islands near Tamriel were captured. In 285, the first reconnaissance ships were sent to Akavir. In 288, Uriel's fleet landed on Akavir, and Ionith was captured without hindrance. The strongest Storms began in the sea, which lasted until 289. Uriel's army was cut off from supply lines. In 290, the Tsaeske attacked Ionith, Uriel V who defended the city was killed. During his reign, the Council of Elders gained a strong influence in the Empire. His son Uriel VI was able to return power to his own hands.

In 3E 368 Uriel VII came to rule the Empire. In 378, the staff of Chaos is stolen from Mournhold by Jagar Tharn, Uriel's battlemage. In 389, he uses the staff's power to take on the form of Uriel and imprison him in oblivion. The 10 years of the so-called Imperial Simulacrum began. There is speculation that Jagar Tharn made a deal with Mehrunes Dagon, who attacked Battlespare, to distract people from the chaos and lawlessness that prevails in Cyrodiil. In 3E 399, an unknown hero manages to collect all the pieces of the staff of chaos, kill Jagar Tharn, and free the emperor from his imprisonment in oblivion. The hero received the title of Defender of Cyrodiil in the Order of the Dragon.

In 405 3E, Uriel Septim VII sends a trusted agent to investigate the death of King Lysandus and find a missing letter sent to the Queen of Daggerfall. In 417 3E, Uriel's agent found and punished the one responsible for the death of King Lysandus. The hero was able to restore the Numidium, there was a second recorded dragon breakthrough.

In 3E 433, Emperor Uriel Septim VII was assassinated in the sewers beneath the imperial city. A dark year has begun for all of Tamriel, called the Oblivion Crisis. During a series of actions, the Amulet of Kings was lost. The bastard (illegitimate son of Uriel VII) Martin Septim became emperor. An unknown hero managed to locate the Mythic Dawn organization and close the Great Oblivion Gate in front of Bruma. Immediately after these events, Mehrunes Dagon himself appeared in the Imperial City, his appearance was accompanied by the opening of many portals to the Dead Lands. Martin Septim sacrifices himself by impaling himself with the amulet of kings and becomes Akatosh incarnate. He forever banishes the prince of destruction and establishes a strong barrier between Mundus and Oblivion, which protected the mortal world from the global encroachments of the Daedra. The dragon that appeared turned to stone. In the Imperial City, the Temple of the One, the only building left from the days of the Alessian Empire and its cult, was destroyed.

The Fourth Era began without the Emperor of Tamriel on the throne. Chancellor Okato and the Blades try to keep order. The provinces begin to take advantage of this state of affairs and, one by one, reduce the influence of the Empire and separate from it.

Around 2 4E, Titus Mede captures the Imperial City, after which he defeats Eddar Olin and proclaims himself the new emperor of Cyrodiil and attempts to restore Imperial Authority.
The Mages Guild has been abolished. It was replaced by two new Imperial wizarding guilds: the College of Whisperers and the Synod.

4E 168 Titus Mede II ascends the throne. The Empire has shrunk considerably, leaving behind only High Rock, Cyrodiil, Skyrim, Hammerfell, and nominally Morrowind.

On 4E 171, an ultimatum was issued to Imereria, backed up by a wagon stuffed with the heads of blade agents operating in Aldmeri Dominion territory. The ultimatum carried a number of unpleasant clauses, in particular a ban on the worship of Talos and the cession of the southern Hammerfell Territories.
Titus Mede II did not accept these conditions, so the Great War began. In the same year, Leyawiin fell, and Bravil was cut off from help and besieged.
4E 172 Bravil and Anvil fell. The Dominion's troops have settled at the walls of the Imperial City.
By the end of 173, the city was surrounded from 3 sides, only the path to Bruma remained free.
In 174, Titus II decides to break through the encirclement in battle and retreat to the north, leaving the 8th legion in the rear. Titus II's legions fought their way through the besiegers and linked up with reinforcements from Skyrim led by General Jonna. The Eighth Legion was destroyed and the capital captured.
Titus pretends to be ready to accept defeat as he gathers troops to take the city.
175 4E the Battle of the Red Ring took place. The Imperial City is captured, the main Thalmor army in Cyrodiil is defeated. General Naafingar is suspended from the White-Gold Tower.
Despite success, half of the empire's legions have been destroyed. Titus Mede II signs the Concordat of White Gold. As a result, Hammerfell leaves the auspices of the Empire. The Redgars consider this a treacherous move.

In 201 4E, the Stormcloaks rebellion began in Skyrim. The Empire sends General Tullius and several legions to deal with this matter. But the general called to solve "Special Tasks", in his own words, lacks strength. The main army of Cyrodiil stands on the border with the Dominion.

In the same year, the Dark Brotherhood kills the Emperor's cousin Vittoria Vici. Following this, the Emperor personally sails to Skyrim to sort out the situation. As a result, the new Listener of the Dark Brotherhood personally kills him on his own ship. The order to kill belonged to one of the members of the Council of Elders. People whisper about the advent of "dark times" for the empire.

At the very beginning of the game, we meet with representatives of the Skyrim Imperial Legion. They are taking our hero with other rebels to be executed. We manage to escape, and here we have a choice: go with a man from the Legion or entrust our lives to the Stormcloaks. Both of these factions are at enmity due to the fact that the imperials forbade the worship of Talos (the former emperor who ascended to heaven). The Nords have refused to reject him, and are openly fighting the Legion.

It is worth noting that no matter who we go with, in the future we can make a choice and join either the Skyrim Imperial Legion or the Stormcloaks.

You should know a few rules for completing legion tasks. If they are not observed, then bugs may appear in the game - quests will stop closing (after completion), or the characters will not give them.

Our hero must kill the first dragon (near the tower in Whiterun) and find out that he is Dovakin. If this is not done, then it will not be possible to take the quest to transfer the ax.

The equipment of faction members can be obtained after joining it. Or you can install a mod on the armor of the Imperial Legion "Skyrim". For example, one of them adds the attire of the Imperials, similar in its performance to the Orcs.

When capturing forts and defending large cities, you need to carefully swing your weapons, otherwise you can hurt your comrades-in-arms. They will not like it, and they will start attacking our hero (they will take him for an enemy). We'll have to start the quest again - nothing else will stop them. Also, do not take companions (assistants, horses, etc.) with you - comrades-in-arms can attack them.

The items that Tullius or Ulfric (leaders of the opposing sides) will give us depend on our level. The higher it is, the better the item we will get.

Do not rush to complete the quests of the Imperial Legion in Skyrim, because after the hostilities some buildings will be destroyed. Also, you will not be able to take additional quests from Ulfric, Tullius and the characters associated with them.

The level of enemies and the rewards received depend on the leveling of Dovakin, so the description may differ slightly from reality.

What is this legion and how to join it

The Imperial Legion is a faction that unites all the forces of the Great Empire - Tamriel. She is at enmity with the Stormcloaks, who do not want to obey the laws. The legion is headquartered in Solitude. The commanders-in-chief are General Tullius, legates Rikke and Caesennius.

The emperor sent Tullius to Skyrim so that he would at any cost reduce Ulfric's influence on the Nords (they are too independent). If we want to support the Empire, we can complete a few tasks and also become a legate.

To join the Imperial Legion of Skyrim, we go to Solitude. There we find and talk with the general. We tell him how well we did with the dragon. After that, he will offer us to join the faction and talk about it with Legate Rikke. We will receive a task from him - to free from the bandits (10 people and the leader) Fort Hrakstad. After the victory, a new garrison will be formed here.

We inform Rikka that we have done everything, and he will send us to the general to take the oath. Once we accept it, the quest to join the Stormcloaks will be cancelled. Now we will be asked to approach the blacksmith Beirand, who will give out equipment and armor of the Imperial Legion of Skyrim (light, medium or heavy). The work in the guild is not over yet, the hero will be given a few more rather voluminous tasks.

Rank system

Depending on the powers and the role performed, each member of the faction has its own rank:

  1. General. Commands legions (one or more) and is appointed by the Emperor himself;
  2. Legate. Leads a separate detachment, fortress or fort. To this post the general appoints those who have previously been a tribune or centurion;
  3. Tribune. This is the name of a high-ranking professional military man capable of commanding a cohort;
  4. Centurion is another rank in the Skyrim Imperial Legion. A veteran soldier or quaestor is promoted to this rank. Under his command is the centuria;
  5. Quaestor. Junior officer in command of a group of legionnaires (10 people);
  6. Legionary. This title is given to an ordinary soldier who has undergone military training in one of the legion's camps;
  7. Recruit - the title of fighters starting to undergo training.

When completing tasks, we often have to deal with the commander of the legion - General Tullius, and the leader of the Storm Brothers - Ulfric Stormcloak.

Behind the jagged crown

After joining the Imperial Legion of Skyrim, our character will have to go through the first task - to find a jagged crown. We will look for her in the ruins of Korvanjund along with several soldiers. The location is located at a decent distance (applies to those who have just started playing), so it will take a long time to get to it. Along the way, there are giants that it is better not to encounter without normal pumping.

Near Korvanjund we will meet Hadvar, the legate of Rikke and other warriors. Let's talk to them, report our readiness and go to the ruins. About 10 warriors will be running with us, so you can just stand and watch how they fight. We must be careful: if we hit anyone with our weapons, they will all start fighting against us.

So, we reach a narrow corridor, where Rikke (a legate of the Imperial Legion in Skyrim) will offer us to find another way (he is afraid of an enemy ambush). We go up, to the left and find the bridge. At the same time, the comrades below will fight the Stormcloaks. We go further until we find ourselves at the entrance to the halls of Korvanjund. Let's defeat several enemies and try to open the door with three circles on which animals are depicted. A claw will help you find the right combination (carefully examine it in your inventory). We expose animals, insert a claw and pass on.

In the next room, open the door by turning the lever and go upstairs. We pass through the bridge, find the lever and click on it. Be prepared for the fact that immediately after that you will be attacked by draugr. In the last room we see a strong draugr (commander-in-chief) with a crown on his head. We kill him and get the artifact we need - a jagged crown. It remains to take it to General Tullius.

We work as a messenger - we go to Whiterun

The next quest when passing for the Imperial Legion in Skyrim is to send a message to the jarl of Whiterun. We get to the palace in any way possible and talk to him. Jarl will decide that it is time to decide the fate of Ulfric Stormcloak, and will give us an ax. If the opponent returns it, then the challenge is accepted.

You can find Ulfric in the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm. In a conversation with him, it turns out that he wants to return the ax to the jarl. We return and see that Whiterun is being attacked by a large number of Stormcloaks. We are sent to protect the city, so we go to Quentin Sirius and prepare for the upcoming battle. It is important to know that the quest cannot be completed unless the dragon threatening the city is killed.

Protecting Whiterun

We leave for the battlefield and speak with legate Rikke. We leave the Dragon Reach and see explosions, flying bombs, destruction. This will not harm our hero and nearby buildings, so we move on. We have to help the Imperial Legion of Skyrim repel the attack of the Storm Brothers.

First, we will defend against numerous enemies barricades. If you can’t resist, then the next place of defense will be the bridge. If rivals penetrate the barricades, this will not affect the final reward and the outcome of the quest in any way. On the game screen, you can see a scale that displays the number of enemies as a percentage. When the indicator reaches zero, the Stormcloaks will stop attacking.

As soon as they take flight, you can go to General Tullius (he will be waiting near the entrance to Whiterun). A large number of warriors and a good leveling of Dovakin will make the quest quite easy. To diversify and complicate the task a little, you can install mods for the Imperial Legion in Skyrim. They are able to change not only the appearance of buildings, but also add stronger warriors and magicians to both camps.

Capturing the White Coast

After we fought off the enemies, we proceed to liberate the lands from them. To capture the White Coast, we will be given two quests: "Disinformation" and "Battle for Fort Dunstad". In general, there will be the capture of several forts located in different possessions.

To begin with, we go to a secret camp on the White Shore and talk with legate Rikke. He will give us the task of intercepting the courier who is transporting the documents of the rebel commander. He will constantly move, so you need to intercept him. The map shows the location of the courier, so finding him is not difficult. A great option is to watch for him in the Night Gate tavern and pick up the item we need while he sleeps. You can also close the door to his room and quietly kill him.

We return to the camp, get fake documents and give them to the commander of the Stormcloaks in Dawnstar. Here you can cheat - put on the clothes of the rebels. With a well-pumped eloquence, they will easily believe that we are just disguised (suitable for any armor).

After that, the Skyrim Imperial Legion needs to clear Fort Dunstad. We go there and meet our soldiers who will help to complete the task faster. Be careful, there are a lot of archers here. Enemies will constantly appear until their number drops to zero.

Capturing the Rift

We find another camp of the Imperials, located west of Riften. Rikke will be waiting for us there, who will give two quests: “Military booty” and “Battle for Fort Greenwall”. The first task involves the search for compromising evidence on Anuriel, who serves for Jarl Riften. We go to the place we need, find her room and steal the letter from the table (near the bed). It is easiest to complete the mission at night with well-pumped stealth.

When we get compromising evidence, we talk about it with Anuriel. For our silence, she will share secret information about the location of the caravan with weapons and gold. If we have a well-pumped eloquence, we can persuade them to give the gold to us. We tell Rikka this and run to intercept the caravan. On the spot, imperial soldiers will be waiting for us, sitting in ambush. We speak with Hadvar and proceed to the attack. We return to the camp and proceed to the next task - the battle for Fort Greenwall.

Legion soldiers will also help us here, so there will be no problems with completing the quest. We storm the fort until the enemy counter is reset. After that, we go to the general, who will give us a new rank in the Imperial Legion of Skyrim - Tribune. He will also tell you that the decisive battle with Ulfric Stormcloak will take place very soon.

Capture Winterhold and Eastmarch

The next task is to rescue comrades from Fort Kastav. We need to sneak in there, free the prisoners and open the gate to capture the location. You can quietly get into Kastav through a secret hatch, which Hadvar will tell you about. You will have to wander around the perimeter a bit to see it (very well camouflaged). If you enter it too noisily, the stealth mission will fail. As a result, you will have to fight the rebels alone.

The key that lies on the table or in the pockets of one of the enemies will help to free the brothers. We get out into the courtyard, open the gate and easily win. We return to Tullius and get the title of Legate. You should know that a bug often appears in this place - comrades do not enter the courtyard of the fort and do not help capture it. Because of this, the quest will not be able to end and will have to be replayed.

In Eastmarch, we have to clear Fort Amol. There is nothing complicated in this battle, and the enemies are also counted as a percentage. As soon as we destroy everyone, we go to Rikka and prepare for the last and most serious attack. We will fight in Windhelm with Ulfric Stormcloak and his guards.

Before the battle, it is better to save, because there are often "bugs" here. Special mods for the Skyrim Imperial Legion will help eliminate some problems with the game. Also, with their help, you can change the armor, weapons and other parameters of both sides.

Forward - to Windhelm

So, our decisive battle with the Stormcloaks has come. The main task is to break through a large number of enemies and get to the jarl's palace. Ulfric Stormcloak is the leader of the rebels, a student of the Greybeards. Although the Empire considers him an enemy, he appears to be a perfectly honest and normal person. The Imperials do not like his struggle for the independence of the inhabitants of "Skyrim" and for the abolition of the conditions of the White-Gold Concordat. This oppresses the representatives of the Aldmeri Dominion and the Dunmer.

So, we move to the city gates of Windhelm, listen to the general and go into the city. Here it is better not to wait for anyone, not to help anyone, but to go towards the palace. The main passage is filled with barricades, so you have to look for a workaround. We turn left, go towards the cemetery, and along the narrow streets we reach the right place. Enemies will periodically appear in front of us, with whom our warriors will help to cope (if necessary).

As soon as our hero enters the palace, Tullius and Rikke will be nearby. Then they will approach Ulfric and start talking to him. The enemy reports that he refuses to surrender. All that remains is to kill him. If you wish, you can ask General Tullius to do this. No matter who kills him, we'll still get the reward.

The war is over, now it only remains to destroy individual groups of the Storm Brothers (marked on the maps with a bear's paw). So, in the game world, we are waiting for two opposing sides, each of which promotes its own ideas. To support the huge Empire, it is worth joining the Skyrim Imperial Legion. If you like the independence of the Nords and their worldview, then you should give preference to the Stormcloaks.

Joining the Imperial Legion

This quest opens the quest chain for the Imperial Legion, one of two factions involved in the civil war. Any soldier representing the Empire can present it.

If you decided before the start of the game that you want to join the Empire, then in the introductory mission just run after Hadvar, the legionnaire who wrote down the names of the captives before execution. After a successful escape, he will offer you to contact the authorities to join the legion.

After receiving the quest, go to Solitude, where the base of the Imperial Legion is located. There, look for General Tullius - the leader of the faction, with whom you need to talk. After the conversation, the general will send you to the Legate Rikka, who takes care of the newcomers.

To test your abilities in practice, she will ask you to clear the Hragstad base, which is located above and to the left of the city. There you have to deal with all the thugs, having conquered the fort for the faction.

On the spot, you will find that all enemies are marked with a marker, which greatly simplifies the task. Moreover, you will not meet particularly strong opponents in the area, so feel free to step forward. Having successfully completed the task, talk to Rikke again, and only then with Tullius himself, who will agree to accept you into the legion.

3 jagged crown

Your first official mission, during which you will have to clear the ruins of Korvanjund and find the ancient regalia of the Nords - the Jagged Crown. The initiator of the campaign was Rikke, who decided that if the Storm Brothers were the first to get to the artifact, this would only strengthen Ulfric's position.

Go to the indicated point, located near the ruins. You will stumble upon a detachment of Imperials and Hadvar, already familiar to you. According to the latter, the enemies got here before you, so you have to fight inside. Once preparations are complete, you will head into the ruins.

Immortal Rikke will lead your squad, so feel free to follow her.

Clear the ruins from the rebels and move forward. At the third hall, the legate will smell an ambush and order you to check the upper level - use the right move to find opponents. After that, the battle will begin, in which comrades in arms will help you, and only then you will head to the next level of the ruins - "Halls".

Here, the Stormcloaks will again appear on your way, until you finally get to the puzzle door. Open it using the key from the corpse that lies nearby (the order is as follows: wolf-insect-dragon).

After that, another mystery awaits you - you need to find a hidden lever that will open the way to further advancement.

The lever itself is located above - on the second level along the stairs on the side and across the bridge.

As soon as you open the door, the draugr will suddenly wake up and have to fight. The next level of the location is called "Crypt".

The final hall will meet you with an impressive throne, on which, apparently, the draugr-king sits, since he has the desired regalia.

You won't have to fight him specifically, but you will be attacked by many other undead Nords.

Examine the Word of Power at the nearest wall and return to Tullius. By the way, you can go to the leader of the opposite side - Ulfric, to change sides. This is your last chance to choose a faction.

With a message for Whiterun

When you deliver the Jagged Crown, Tullius will ask you to visit Whiterun, where Jarl Balgruuf sits. Information has come in that the rebels will soon attack this trading city, and that is why you must warn their leader.

Upon learning of Ulfric's plans, the Jarl of Whiterun will send you to him personally with a specific request - to deliver the ax. This is an ancient custom of the Nords, which the rulers resort to at the very last moment. If the side accepts the weapon, then the battle is prevented.

You can find the leader of the Stormcloaks in Windhelm. Naturally, the warlike leader will refuse to accept the ax and send you back. You just have to tell Balgruuf about the decision of the Thunderbird, so that he would allow the Empire to enter the city for its defense.

Battle of Whiterun

After talking with Scipius, you will go to defend the city. Outside, you will see that the offensive has unfolded in full force - talk to Rikke by the walls.

When you arrive, the legate will try to raise the morale of the soldiers with a pathetic speech, after which he will lead you and them into battle. Your task is to kill as many rebels as possible until the counter on the side reaches 100% value. Up to this point, the enemy will respawn indefinitely.

There are secondary tasks in this task, consisting in the defense of specific positions. So, at first you will have to protect the barricades, killing the advancing enemies. If the defense is broken through, then you will retreat to the bridge, after which the task will be updated - it will be necessary to protect it already.

When the attack is repulsed, the enemy will retreat. After that, visit the general to get a promotion and new weapons.

About the unification of Skyrim

A long quest associated with a series of small tasks of the same type. To complete it, you will have to conquer all the cities captured by the Stormcloaks.

In addition, the quest involves the completion of the mission "Endless Time", during which you will have to conclude a truce between the warring parties. How you decide on peace (we are talking about the transfer of cities from hand to hand), and will determine your future goals.

Capture the White Coast

After a triumphant victory at Whiterun, Tullius will promote you, deciding that there is nothing more for you to do in the role of "infantry". Now you will complete tasks of special importance, on which the entire campaign of the Empire in Skyrim depends.

Go to Rikka, who is in the camp near the White Shore. The legate decides to thwart the enemy's plans by planting fake orders on the rebel commander. But first you need to steal real documents, which is what you will do.

A messenger with the Stormcloaks' plans travels from Windhelm to Dawnstar. Before using fast travel, please note that the rider is moving in real time.

On the way, he will visit two taverns, so it makes sense to immediately go to the Night Gate. There you can tell the owner about the messenger, who will soon visit this tavern. If you convince the owner, he will tell you that the rebel has already stopped here, but is currently away on other business. Now the rider is indicated on your map - all that remains is to wait for him.

It is not worth killing the messenger in the tavern, as there are many witnesses around. If you do not want to become a criminal, then just follow the rider on the road and cut him down somewhere in the wilderness. In addition, documents can be stolen from his pocket when he goes to bed.

When the deed is done, take the information to the legate. It turns out that the rebels demand more soldiers for Dawnstar, as the local army is no longer enough.

Then Rikke will redo the documents and send you to the Stormcloaks - take the fake to the indicated place and return to the legate.

Now that the rebels have lost troops in this region, you can conquer Fort Dunstad. Head to the point where your brothers in arms are. Together with them storm the fortress and destroy all enemies. The battle will go on until the percentage drops to 0.

After the fight, return to Tullius and report your success. The general will give you another useful item, and then offer you to visit a new camp.

Capture the Rift

This possession will need to be returned as the second default, however, during the negotiations, you can transfer this city, which will make the task unavailable.

Check out the camp at the Rift, where Rikke is waiting for you. She will send you to the city for the specific purpose of probing a local jarl named Anuriel for blackmail. As the Empire knows, it cooperates with the Thieves Guild - it is this nasty connection that you can use.

To find dirt, you will have to sneak into Mistveil Castle and get documents with which you can then blackmail the jarl. In general, wandering in this fortress is prohibited, so you will have to use stealth.

If your stealth skill is not pumped, just run past the guards (they will try to stop you), without examining anything in the area, take the letter from the box and leave.

Next, go to Anuriel and show her the find. If you put pressure on her, she will agree to cooperate with the legion and tell you valuable information - a caravan carrying gold and weapons is moving to the rebel capital Windhelm. Take advantage of the information and break this squad.

By the way, not far from the road, on a hill, a detachment of Imperials will be waiting for you, who will gladly help you deal with the rebels. Among the comrades you will also find Hadvar, who will offer you to speak from afar, using ranged combat, or to attack in the forehead.

After telling Rikka about the success, you will receive a new assignment - to conquer the Greenwall fortress. You will find this fort below Shore's Stone. On the spot, kill enemies until the counter finally stops. As a reward for victory, the general will give you a unique item and send you to a new camp.

You will find a new camp below and to the right of the city of Dawnstar. The legate will tell you that the rebels captured your brothers in arms, placing them in the prisons of the Kastav fortress. It is necessary to conquer the fort and return the captured Imperials to freedom.

On the spot, you will stumble upon a friend of Hadvar, who again, as in the previous task, will offer two options: go ahead or use the secret passage that is located on the side of the fortress. If everything is clear with the first, then in the second case you will have to secretly get close to the fort, without falling into the eyes of the guards defending the wall, and go down.

This way you can immediately get into the prison where the prisoners are being held. Kill the guard, take the key to the cages, and then free the legionnaires to get reinforcements.

Together with them, as well as Hadvar's detachment, you will hit the fort from two sides and leave no chance for the rebels. When you inform Tullius of the completed task, he will promote you to Legate.

This task opens only after negotiations during the quest "Endless Time". You must give the rebels the city of Markarth, and then the mission will become available.

Unlike the previous ones, this assignment is not unique. You must visit the next empire camp, and then simply clear out the Sungard fortress. Other legionnaires will help you, and the battle will again have to continue to zero percent.

Capture Eastmarch

The war in the province of Skyrim is coming to an end. Most of the rebellious country is back under Imperial rule, and it's up to you to strike the penultimate blow. To open the way to the capital of the enemy Windhelm, you must conquer Eastmarch.

Visit the camp below and to the right of Windhelm, where the legate is waiting for you. Rikke will send you to capture Fort Amol, where you just need to cut out the entire garrison. Lower the percentage value to zero to complete the challenge.

Battle of Windhelm

The civil war is on the verge of completion. The army of the Empire has already approached the capital of the enemy and started the assault - you need to join them as soon as possible. After passing the entrance bridge, you will stumble upon the troops and directly Tullius, who is making a speech. As soon as his eloquence runs out, the attack will begin.

Together with your brothers in arms, make your way inside the city. If during the defense of Whiterun you defended it, hiding behind the barricades, now the latter will have to break through, destroying all the barriers. The ultimate goal of the offensive is to break into the palace and kill Ulfric Stormcloak.

Some paths will be impassable, so from time to time you will have to turn and choose a different road.

After the first detachment of rebels, move to the left and exit to the bazaar. After destroying the enemies, bypass the forge and go to the cemetery, where they will try to stop you again.

After that, having dealt with the next barrier, go out into the rich quarter. Turn right here and go through the lane to the castle. On the way to it, you will only have to kill the last defenders, and then go inside.

Now you need to kill the rebel leader Ulfric and his faithful companion Galmar. By the way, Tullius and Rikke will fight on your side, so do not be afraid, the enemies will not put up strong resistance.

When the head of the rebels is brought to his knees, all that remains is to finish him off - Tullius will shift this honor on your shoulders. You can refuse, but then the general himself will kill Ulfric.

Finally, as a reward for a great victory, Tullius will present you with his own unique sword. When the job is done, go outside and listen to the general's next speech. This completes the line of the Imperial Legion.

Like if helpful

Your journey to Skyrim will begin with the choice of a race, each of which has its own unique characteristics. Some residents of Tamriel have outstanding physical strength, others have excelled in the study of magic, and still others make excellent diplomats. In general, it is a sin to complain about the lack of variability.

This article will focus on one of the most prominent races in Skyrim - the Imperials. It was they who at one time managed to conquer all the peoples of Tamriel and unite them into one powerful state. Now the Imperials are again destined to play a key role in the escalating conflict.

Description

The natives of Cyrodiil are known for their education, discipline, and military prowess. The Imperials in Skyrim cannot boast of phenomenal physical data, but they have a predisposition to trade and diplomacy. Representatives of this race often hold important government positions, run successful shops and command troops.

If we are talking about the army, then we cannot fail to mention the imperial legion. It is a fearsome war machine, made up mostly of light infantry. Even having traveled Tamriel far and wide, you will hardly find a force capable of opposing these experienced warriors on equal terms.

Story

The history of Cyrodiil dates back to the arrival in these lands of the Ayleids - the ancient relatives of all elven races. The locals, the ancestors of today's Imperials, were enslaved by conquerors who used their labor to further their own ambitions. The Ayleid rule lasted until 242 of the First Era.

Unable to endure the oppression of the conquerors any longer, the slaves, led by Alessia, launched an uprising that became a turning point in the balance of power on the continent. As a result, the Cyrodilians succeeded in driving the Ayleids from their own lands. Moreover, having united with the Nords, they managed to conquer most of Tamriel and create an Empire - a true monument of prosperity and peace.

Peculiarities

Like every other race in the game, the Imperials have several unique features:

  • Imperial Luck is a passive effect that allows you to find more gold.
  • Emperor's Voice is an active skill that calms enemies for 60 seconds. Can only be used once a day.

In addition, representatives of this race have a starting bonus to restoration and destruction magic, and are also trained in enchanting, blocking, using heavy armor and wielding one-handed weapons.

Equipment

The armor of the Imperials in Skyrim is divided into light and heavy. Armor is made from leather and steel, so it's not the best piece of equipment in the game. However, the use of such cheap materials is fully justified. The imperial army consists of a huge number of soldiers, each of which must be provided with at least some armor.

If you wish, you can easily make such equipment yourself in the forge. In addition, the armor of the Imperials can be removed from the bodies of defeated enemies, as well as found in various chests and caches.
